This sign is posted at the Granville Island water park. It makes sense when there's small children running around in the summertime. Not so much at this time of year.
Saw this on the Vancouver-area Four Thirds Photographers photowalk with Daniel, Eric, Jason, Mike, and NJ on Granville Island, Vancouver. November 11, 2014.

I don't exactly know what my point was here, but here's a look at the other side of the Fun Zone wall. There used to be video game setups on the wall in front of me.
The Hope Outdoor Gallery is a city sponsored graffiti fun zone. You can watch everyone from inspired artists to 5th grade wannabes--or you can join in yourself.
You can drop $10 in and play all day, but you're never going to win anything in this particular game. Konica Autoreflex T, Ilford FP4+, Rodinal 1:50.
There's the "Martial Arts Plus" I mentioned earlier on the left, which was previously located near the mall entrance by Burlington. There's what also appears to be "Fun Zone", a Chuck E. Cheese's type place.

Plaza del Sol, originally named Osceola Square Mall, is located in Kissimmee, FL, a city near Orlando known for being a popular tourist area. When it opened, it took the title of being the first (and only) enclosed mall in Osceola County. The original anchors of the mall included Walmart, Ross Stores, J. Byrons, Eckerd Drug, and a Cobb 6-screen movie theater. The Walmart opened in 1985, while the rest of the mall officially opened on October 23, 1986.
The mall initially did well in its first years, but as time went on and competition started getting bigger, the mall began to decline.
The Walmart closed in 1995 to relocate to a new Supercenter just down the road, but was later replaced by Bealls in 1997. All J. Byrons stores were acquired by Uptons in 1996, only for that chain to go bankrupt in 1999. This period was also when the mall began to slip downward. Stores began to leave as the new Walmart and other new shopping in the area began to spring up.
As the new millenium began, the mall declined even further. A large outdoor shopping center named “The Loop” opened not far from the mall, which attracted Bealls away and presumably other mall stores. The movie theater also closed as it couldn’t stand against the larger multiplexes. The Florida Mall embarked on a major renovation and expansion in 2000, becoming even larger in size. The high-end Mall at Millenia also opened in Orlando in 2002. Osceola also failed to have any major renovation or expansion during most of its lifespan. All during this time, the mall became nearly empty, save for most of the anchors and a few stores, mostly mom-and-pop establishments. However, Burlington Coat Factory did open in 2008. and Florida Technical College also opened a branch in a former anchor, while Ross still continued to operate as the mall’s only original anchor.
In 2014, a new owner bought the mall and announced plans to convert it to a Hispanic-oriented mall. This incarnation held its grand opening in June 2014 as “Plaza del Sol: The Latin Village”. The new mall was repainted to resemble a “village” with fake buildings as storefronts. New small shops run by people in the community also opened in the mall. This revival has proved to be a success with the community, as it is attracting more business than it did before.
