Fuglen
The original Fuglen shop in Oslo, Norway is a blend of café, cocktail bar and vintage design boutique, where even the furniture is up for sale. Its Tokyo shop, which opened in 2012, transplants the concept to a backstreet corner not far from Yoyogi Park.
Fuglen Tokyo opens at 8am on weekdays, selling tea and some remarkably good coffee during the daytime. It switches to bar mode in the evenings, with Japanese and Norwegian craft beers and a menu of cocktails with extensive use of infused spirits and bitters.
The uniqueness of the décor and outdoor seating makes this a must visit destination for caffeine addicts and the cocktail crowd alike!

ENG: The hoopoe has always been one of my favourite birds, and I have long wanted to take photos of it. When I visited Hidephotography I finally got the oportunity. Later the same day I learned from my grandmother that this bird had a nick name, Büdös Banka. The reason is that the bird often has the nest full of feces. The bad smell is meant as a defense against predators. The Hoopoe is also able to spray feces on the intruders.
