Partaking in the Instameet for National Park Week at Ft. Pulaski.

The Renault FT-17 was a French light tank developed and used in combat for the first time during the First World War. It was the first production tank to have it´s main armament mounted on a turret, allowing 360º of coverage, becoming the most common layout in terms of tank design.

It was mostly armed either with a 37mm Puteaux Cannon or a Hotchkiss 8mm Machine Gun.

During the First World War, it was the main tank of the French forces and was sold to many nations after and during the war, including the US, Russia, Japan, Poland and Spain. Many tanks built on those nations since then can trace their “origin” to the FT-17.

The Fort Smith (Arkansas) Trolley Museum operates a Birney 'Safety Car' that runs through portions of the downtown.

The trolley is called a 'safety car' because it has a 'dead man control' that automatically stops the trolley if the operator lifts his foot off the pedal.

The museum has been operating the #224 car since May 1991. The museum has been steadily extending the track.

this place had such an awesome view!

I believe I shot this at North Beach Ft. Desoto

The Renault FT, which is so famous that you don't need me to explain what this is, was still massively used in 1940 in the french army (1700 were still in service in reserve groups). When germans pierced the allied defence line a lot of these tanks were sent to contain panzer divisions but their canons were ineffective and couldn't pierce any panzer from the front, they were still very slow as well and their armor could barely block MG fires. This engagement cost the live of many french tanker since most of them were simply destroyed without being able to resist in any way.

This model is basically Brickmania one with the camoflage I usually use and some decals that were often applied on Ft's from 1940.

I hope you like it :)

Also I'm a bit late for this picture since I am really busy these times, This vehicle marks the end of my first wave of vehicles, I already built some of the second wave but I'll take a little break before posting them since they are more expensive to do, I also took pictures of some of my older models because they were rather bad but now half of them are better (I will do the rest when I'll have some time). ^^

The Freedom Tower.

I followed the construction of One World Trade Center from the very beginning. We have always said "if the tower is ready, we will go to New York City no matter what."

Then finally ... November 7th (my birthday), the big day has arrived. We had bought tickets for the One World Observatory...at 9:00 AM we had the first elevator up, and from the moment we stepped out of the elevator it was one great experience which we will never forget.

What an amazingly beautiful start of my birthday !!!

Mission accomplished !!!
