In case you can't read it, those are 6-pound Fruit Loops. Given the historically bad exchange rate, that's about $12 for a box of Fruit Loops. How badly do you want your American junk food?

These simple billfolds are made from cardboard packaging. They measure 8" long x 3 3/4" high. Each one is unique based on the packaging I have on hand to make them.

I detest glitter! Not so much this bigger shiny confetti with which a friend 'sabotaged' her Christmas cards, but the sparkly dust that sticks to everything and always manages to stick itself to your face somehow.

 

My ex-boyfriend's mother was a bit of a hippychick fruitloop who decided I needed some 'sparkle' in my life, and mailed me an envelope of the stuff - loose - so that when I unwittingly tore it open, the bloody stuff cascaded everywhere!

 

Years later, I'm STILL finding it in my carpets...

between phone uploads and now being home and adding things these aren't quite in order, but..here are scenes from our 8 day road trip, which was wonderful and we had a great time. to be on the blog later.
