apart from being confused by the extra bit o'leg (not used to things below the drumstick being left on!), i had no troubles. and it looked and tasted beautiful!
So, what does one do when Saturday night plans fall through, and there isn't enough motivation to leave the apartment?
The answer, of course, is to bake!

I made vanilla cupcakes with butter cream frosting and a caramel drizzle. All from scratch and each containing a nice dose of Maker's Mark.
My creation is not polished or pretty, but it is pretty darn tasty. And I have enough frosting and caramel leftover to try again! :)
