After numerous recipe trials, I think I've finally created the perfect cookie recipe.

Is it silly to say that you love your own picture? I do. I am so happy with the way this bread came out. It looked good, it smelled good, it tasted good. This was a very good part of my day.

 

Most people get the bread baking bug in the winter, I always get it in the spring. I am not sure why I don't make bread all the time, it's really easy with the Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day book (ridiculously so, actually). This is the second night we have had homemade bread.

On Sindoni Lane in Hammonton. I first thought it was an arts and crafts store, but I have since looked it up and it is a bakery.

These are a knock off of a yummy treat I used to eat at Starbucks - Cranberry Bliss Bars. Anybody remember those??

homemade pizza! this 2nd try looks so much better than the 1st time. the pizza sauce is much thicker with garlic bits! and the mozzarella we used is harder and drier. mine has extra sauce, artichoke hearts, basil, roma tomatoes, pepperoni. the crust is the only thing we didnt make this time, but we plan on making it fromscratch next time! okay time to eat!!!

Had enough risotto left over from last night's dinner to attempt risotto cakes tonight. I put a lot of veggies in my risotto, so the texture is a little tricky. They still turned out very tasty!
