The outside of this building is very interesting to me. A mixture of glass and brick straight up. The inside is pure 1950s, but the outside feels just right. This is the epicenter for the village, including the police department.
“THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED” is a sculptural installation comprising twenty-two sculptures. The sculptures are secured by the feet between the windows and the balcony of the building. They represent men, women and children walking, as though mirroring the movement of people along the Rua de Santa Catarina. The designer and sculptor is Paulo Ramunni.

Another easy shot today. Taken at my friends place as she suggested last week. Not much done today, still in holidays until next Sunday, so, lets see how the next days will be, hopefully it will not be raining...

Day 50.
Documenting the construction of my first home, on the farm in Brazil.
Nothing elevates your spirit like building your own home. Especially
here on the farm in Brazil where we have no electricity and everything
is improvised. At times, it is frustrating and very slow but now that
the house has taken shape and is almost covered--it´s pure joy!
my friend Davi is taking my photo from the ground floor as I balance
myself on the wooden beam of my loft.

Securing any time to sit and look when out on a walk with Dennis can be problematical....once I have finished eating on drinking he is on his feet ready to go...this time inspiration struck and I challenged him to shot a flower from below...it worked...now I have to think of a list of challenges to keep in reserve!

What else can you say but... Lenin?
What you want to know about this statue can be read about over here.
Neiman Marcus has already decked their outdoor walls with Christmas cheer. This is a view of the corner of the flagship store looking straight up into the sky.
one last fitting before I packed it back up. I love this dress....I wish I could wear it all the time. But it gets a little heavy when vacuuming and carrying laundry upstairs. I promise this is the last wedding dress picture. this month. maybe.
Saved my aquilegias this year... For the last few years they have all been attacked by something that made the flowers distorted and withered. Always had to de-head them before they had opened. This year sprayed them all before they flowered ... and caught tiny flies which I have no found out to be a type of leaf miner that lays its eggs in the flower head which the larvae proceed to munch on .... got them this year before they could lay their eggs... now have wonderful first flush of flowers - Hurrah....
Very unique cellars with big vents and chambers with an opening in the ceiling. We had not seen that at Moet-Chandon or Piper-Heidsieck, so it is worth visiting different champagne cellars.
See a daytime & full version. This was taken from tripod, presumably by long exposure, but printed paper unfortunately doesn't tell, how much.
This extraordinary globe was suspended above a courtyard in an ordinary Munich shopping centre. I am standing directly underneath it, pointing the camera through the hole in the bottom of the globe looking towards the hole in the top.
