This large Motorbike Frog (Litoria moorei) was hiding amongst the Agapanthus outside the bedroom window. It is nice and moist under there with plenty of cover. I always get amazed at how much wildlife will use habitat in the garden even if it is not native. Provide the right conditions and the wildlife will come!
This frog is such a cutie! On the underside of his legs, he has some bright yellow patches that really stand out against his moist, gray skin.
Found in my friends bathroom in Beachmont, SE QLD, approx 5cm in length.
I think it may be of the Litoria species?? any help IDing would be appreciated.
Weber Spur Trail, between Bryn Mawr and the abandoned railroad bridge, LaBagh Woods, Chicago, Illinois. The Weber Spur Trail is an abandoned Union Pacific Railroad right of way. The rails are gone now, leaving a rustic trail full of interesting flora and fauna.
