Id help appreciated.
This super little frog was catching flies in my wildlife pond this afternoon, and was very happy with it's catch!

Getting all my frog shots out of the way before Mick sees them here and makes a snide comment... going to bury them under a load of new pics and maybe she won't notice. ;-)
An Eastern Banjo Frog photographed just south of Sydney not too long ago on a very wet and cold night.
this guy never moved through several shots and even a lens change, and me being only about six feet away, moving around getting different angles
I wasn't sure how this photo would work. While tramping along a pond I saw this frog between the leaves of several plants. Somehow it seems to have worked.

'BEING GIVEN THE HEADS UP'.
Each time a frog swallows, it closes its eyes. In doing so, the eyes actually get depressed into their sockets and this aids movement of any food down the throat.
Although frogs are able to swallow food without the assistance of their eyeballs, that would involve an awful lot of swallowing!
So, by depressing one or both eyes simultaneously and using the tongue, food gets effectively pushed towards the stomach. This significantly reduces the amount of swallowing needed, how ingenious is that!
This was the first Marsh Frog I had ever seen and it lived up to all my expectations, and more. It was in the process of eating an insect caught moments before and had just depressed its left eye completely. I only managed to photograph it just as the eye was rising up out of its socket again.
Perhaps, with a stretch of the imagination, it looks as if it is winking?
N.B: This image is dedicated to Mark....
Thanks for the 'heads up'. Here's winking at you! ;-)
Not one of the more colourful frogs, perhaps, but one of my favourites nonetheless.
Taken on a photography day with CaptiveLight in Bournemouth.

I might be paranoid, but this latest arrival in our pond seems to have spawned straight from The Dead Marshes of Mordor.

Taken a couple of weekends ago on the deck at the cottage. My first wild-life picture. At full zoom I went as close as possible, crawling on my belly - and was rewarded. I was and still am totally amazed and awed at this beautiful Life form.
I wanted to time the shutter release as it leapt - but the long wait did not help?:-(
