It's World Photo DAY!! I found this little frog hiding in my flower bed. I think we both scared each other. :)

This little guy at Bronte Marsh allowed me to get very close with the macro lens.

Breeding Intermediate Egret

This is the elusive Pig Frog. It is often heard in the marsh and swamps, but it is rarely seen. It sounds like a pig.

Ajisai and Japanese tree frog (ニホンアマガエルとアジサイ)

Last week I found these Frogs. Nothing exiting but they seem to change colors : on green leaves they are all green but watch what happens with maroon leaves.

Frog in duckweed at Wildwood Park

Most frogs have large protruding eyes, giving them almost 360' vision. This is needed as they don't have very flexible necks. They can see in colour and can have good vision for movement, even if far away.

Japanese forest green tree frog (Rhacophorus arboreus) aka moriaogaeru (モリアオガエル). Sitting on our washing dryer!

Frogger riding a Trane. Coming back up from the lake, as I walked by the cabin, I notice a bright green frog sitting right in the middle of a Trane air conditioner. Fan running and all. I don't know why or how he got there. I snapped a couple of pictures and when the fan went off, I moved him into the woods.

The Perez's frog, also known as Iberian waterfrog, Iberian green frog or Coruna frog, is a species of frog in the family Ranidae.

We have a small garden with a stand-a-lone water cascade. We are pleased it is occupied.

I don't know whether this fairy tale is known in English?
