Last week I found these Frogs. Nothing exiting but they seem to change colors : on green leaves they are all green but watch what happens with maroon leaves.

All taken in our tiny garden as I tried out a new bridge camera which may well have to act as a backup as age and health start to dictate what we can do with the other lenses.
This fellow suddenly appeared at my feet as I was trying to photograph a fly so I immediately bent f down and had a few clicks.
Is taking a bit of time to get to grips with the new facilities but I am pleased with the inigtial efforts.
Some more old shots revisited. These were either popular with me or got lots of views.
I discovered this frog in the trees by a stream. He had probably been peeping all night and needed some rest.
Shooting frog with a Nikon D810 mounted on my Celestron NexStar 4 SE Telescope, posed on a low wall... equivalent to a 1325 mm lens. Focusing was difficult but the long distance with the subject made the shooting easier...

Frogger riding a Trane. Coming back up from the lake, as I walked by the cabin, I notice a bright green frog sitting right in the middle of a Trane air conditioner. Fan running and all. I don't know why or how he got there. I snapped a couple of pictures and when the fan went off, I moved him into the woods.

Most frogs have large protruding eyes, giving them almost 360' vision. This is needed as they don't have very flexible necks. They can see in colour and can have good vision for movement, even if far away.

Much love to this little frog. I had approached a few frogs by the pond, but they all jumped away before I could take a picture. Then I sat on a bench, looked down and there he was! He did pose for me :)
Or not! Jeez guys, can you not just co-ordinate for the camera? Yay, it's frog time! I love listening to their chorus.
A Cuban Tree Frog sleeps in a philodendron during the day. Cuban Tree Frogs are an invasive species in Florida and prey upon native frogs. I've read that you are supposed to capture them and place them in the freezer for a few hours to cause them a humane death. I don't have the heart to do that. Should I? They have replaced all the native, beautiful green treefrogs, but they are abundant in my neighborhood and I don't think I could make much of a dent in their population.
