Mute swans lay from 4 to 10 eggs. The female broods for around 36 days, with cygnets normally hatching between the months of May and July.

An acron woodpecker is moving an acorn to a better suited hole. ✔️

 

Acorn woodpeckers collect acorns and find a hole that is just the right size for the acorn. As acorns dry out, they are moved to smaller holes. Granary maintenance requires a significant amount of the bird's time, so they are an important back-up food resource. If available, woodpeckers primarily feed on insects, sap, and fruit.

When a gull keeps flying straight at you and you only have a 400mm prime lens, just switch your mind to BIF (Birds in Flight) portraits rather than berating yourself for not bringing a zoom...

A coyote is pouncing at the local pond. I don't know what it was chasing, but I did not see any catch. ✔️

One could tell how inexperienced it was - it kept loosing its fish when tossing it, but was very quick in getting it again. Lots of practice still needed to make it an experienced hunter.
