It was the friendly faces weekend. Office-containers on a buildung site near the rhine smiled to us while taking a stroll.
This was my very first time attending an official Flickr meeting, and I'm glad to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I mean, you can't go wrong when you meet so many friendly faces right from the start.
Here's a snapshot of some of the friendly faces around and nearby my table when we first met at the Secret Recipe restaurant at Lot 10.
Definitely a great time all around, and there was an especially fun photo hunt that happened after lunch!
This was the friendliest coyote I've ever seen. He (or she) was walking down the center of the road in Yellowstone. When we pulled off the road in front of him, he followed us off the road and calmly walked among us - often within a few feet. Beautiful animal!

Friendly Monster J loves to play on the jungle gym and finger paint. He also enjoys stringing beads, eating jello, and making crafts with popsicle sticks.

While trying to do some birding with a friend this doe kept coming around with some of her buddies. We had to chase them away the whole time we were there as they kept the birds away.
Friendly Fires / Heaven / 9th May
Quick edit from Friendly Fires at Heaven tonight. Quite the dark one and Ed spent almost all his time at the front of the already high stage, meaning plenty of nostril shots. Lovely. They were sounding fantastic though so all is forgiven.
Will upload the full gallery from the gig later this week on my site.
A ring-billed gull (Larus delawarensis), long acclimated to humans, looks for food along a footpath.
Friendly Encounters
At first you may only see the three raccoons, but soon you'll see the doe at the base of the tree.
Hope you enjoy.

Amazing sunburst off that dolphin's back!
Went for a walk this morning, and there was a whole pod of dolphins playing and having breakfast in the river... Wonderful animals.
Water Wildlife at Tyler State Park. I think maybe they were thinking I had some treats for them. When they saw me they paddled over real fast and as if to say, "No Food?".
This racing pigeon decided to come into our beach hut yesterday and take a look around before heading homeward.
This friendly fellow came bounding towards me as I walked up the hill towards the remains of the Priory at Bicknacre.
This is a Muscovy Duck ( Thanks to The Melody Censor for confirming this for me. ) .
There are about 10 of them in the park at the moment. They have to be the friendliest species of duck I've ever come across. Even when not offering them food they come up, look and wink at you, but they also stick around, they don't walk off when they realise your not going to feed them. And they respond to speech too, probably don't have a clue what I'm on about but the fain understanding well.
