After a week or so of not being able to shoot, I took matters into my own hands and walked over to this spot well after dark (I only live a few blocks away). I wish there were more cars heading into the city for those red streaks, but oh well. It was nice to be out shooting again.

Driving back from Bacchus Marsh after photographing a confirmation I decided I wanted to do a long exposure of a freeway. I got home, grabbed my camera and went to the closest overpass in Ballarat. As my cable release is broken I could only shoot 30 second exposures with the ISO cranked to 1250. Time to get an intervalometer and do some massive ones everywhere cause I actually loved it!

A brutalist gem. Seattle

Sitting on a freeway sideway on unknown road, lorries and cars passing by gushing cold air as they pass by, clear dark night sky calmness.

These freeways speak to us if we listen closely they tell a story of people who live their lives on it, its home to them.

They spend their entire lives on them so Decorate their rides as if someone decorates and celebrates his loved ones.

The artist is smart and creative with a wicked sense of humor. First, far from being a freeway, this is a tiny stub of a street just off an industrial area. Second, this is one of the most impoverished areas of Winnipeg.

I wish that I had been a bit smarter and creative in taking this photo. I should have broken off that vile branch instead of trying to minimize its effect.

This newly completed double layers freeways has become very popular for photographers. Since there are Tung blossom this month, I rushed to this shooting spot this evening too. However, the sky was quite hazy. Maybe, I will go back when the sky is clearer.

This Dennis Trident was new to the Isle of Man, but as the interior would suggest, transferred to Blackpool at some point.
