Fidelity, MO- I-49 & US 71 S Bound departs the freeway ahead for a 7 mile long concurrency with I-44. Ahead begins MO 59, a former alignment of US 71 Alternate and US 71, that continues 45 miles to the AR State Line where it continues as AR 59. The route is mostly 2 lanes as the freeway soon ends beyond the interchange.

Traffic isn't so bad now. Wait until later when people are rushing home. I've been caught in stop and go traffic on a Saturday afternoon before. I usually skip this and take Sepulveda Blvd home. Is it much quicker? Not really, at least I'm not stopped.
