Freeway Park, Seattle this last fall.
Taken with my Canon A-1 with a Canon 28mm 1:2.8 lens, f/2.8 on Kodak Ektar 100.
This is one of fourteen sculptures along the new Eastlink Freeway. It is called the `Ellipsoidal Freeway Sculpture'. It is 36 metres long &5 metres high and its made of fibreglass., and right up close it certainly looked pretty big and very colourful
The road will be electronically tolled..
Joplin, MO- I-49 & US 71 N Bound supplemental sign for Missouri Southern University to use MO 249 North which is the straight through freeway after both I-49 & US 71 depart for I-44 E Bound.
Seems like there's something missing in the way of context here - a sign I saw on a fence near the off-ramp for the 405 Freeway
I have noticed that this particular fence is an ad hoc "Speakers Corner" for political opinions - wacky or otherwise.
US-395 north at Exit 60 - South Meadows Parkway.

Interstate 15 (I-15) is an Interstate Highway in the U.S. state of Nevada that begins in Primm, continues through Las Vegas and it crosses the border with Arizona in Mesquite. The freeway runs entirely in Clark County. Many motorists use I-15 to visit Las Vegas, as it is the only primary Interstate Highway in the city. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstate_15_in_Nevada
White smudges along the darker gray asphalt mark a freeway where otters cross from one side of the road to the other. Mud and musk from their bellies gets dragged across the roadway, showing their path. They stop occasionally to leave little scat packages for the curious hiker to dissect.
There was a bit of vibration in the tripod - perhaps the icy wind - when I set these shots up. I didn't realise it would result in wiggly light trails. I can't be certain but the vibration looks to be around 10 -15 cycles per second. Perhaps it was the bridge vibrating.
Yet another in-car photo. Took it when we stopped, and I'm amazed how steady I held the camera for it. Also note the lovely graffiti; just think of it as the 'art of Modesto'.
