Equipamento faz parte das obras do corredor exclusivo de ônibus do eixo norte/sul e facilitará o tráfego misto da área, que registra, em média, 4 mil veículos por dia, em horário de pico.
A secretaria das cidades liberou, segunda-feira, 05 de agosto, o Viaduto de Ouro Preto, em Olinda. O equipamento, batizado com o nome do senador Nivaldo Rodrigues Machado (projeto de lei do Deputado Ricardo Costa - PTC), faz parte do corredor exclusivo de ônibus norte/sul e é o segundo a ser entregue à população. O primeiro foi o Viaduto Bajado, nos Bultrins, liberado para população em fevereiro de 2013. A liberação do viaduto aconteceu às 11h, na presença do Governador Eduardo Campos e do secretário das cidades, Danilo Cabral.
Com a liberação do viaduto, os veículos particulares e os coletivos das linhas 050 (PE-15/Boa Viagem), 913 (PE-15/Joana Bezerra) e 915 (PE-15), que circulam no Terminal PE-15, em ambos os sentidos, deverão utilizar o novo equipamento. Essas linhas não atenderão mais as paradas que ficam localizadas na pista local.
Para essas linhas, foi recuada em 200 metros a parada de ônibus de N° 150076, localizada no sentido Recife/Paulista, antes do viaduto, perto da av. Chico Science. Ela foi relocada para a frente ao bar da Neidinha. Nesta parada passam também as linhas: 050 (PE-15/Boa Viagem); 896 (Cidade Tabajara/Ouro Preto (veículo de pequeno porte - VPP); 907 (Paulista/Rio Doce); 909 (Paulista/Joana Bezerra); 913 (PE-15/Joana Bezerra); 915 (PE-15); 921 (Ouro Preto (Jatobá I); 926 (Ouro Preto (Jatobá II); 940 (Abreu e Lima/Olinda); 946 (Igarassu (BR-101); 967 (Igarassu/Sítio Histórico); 976 (Paulista (prefeitura)); 977 (paulista (Conde da Boa Vista)) ; 979 (Paulista (Rua do Sol) - expresso).
E no sentido inverso (Paulista/Recife), em frente a faculdade Facho, uma nova parada foi implantada antes do viaduto, no corredor central exclusivo de ônibus.
As demais linhas continuam a circular normalmente pela pista local, além dos motoristas que queiram entrar nas ruas do bairro, como Rua Ema e Peixe Agulha, por exemplo.
Benefícios - a partir de janeiro de 2014, quando toda a obra do Corredor estiver concluída, o viaduto de Ouro Preto terá uma nova função. Das quatro faixas, duas pistas serão destinadas exclusivamente para o TRO (uma no sentido Recife/Paulista e outra no sentido Paulista/Recife) e outras duas pistas permanecem para o tráfego misto (ambas no sentido Paulista/Recife). Com o viaduto, o semáforo de entrada para o bairro de Ouro Preto será eliminado, fazendo com que os ônibus de BRT não parem no cruzamento existente, dando mais agilidade às viagens. O viaduto teve investimento de R$ 10 milhões e tem 360 m de extensão e 15 m de altura.
Segundo o secretário das Cidades, Danilo Cabral, a liberação do viaduto reforça o compromisso do Estado em entregar a obra do corredor Norte/Sul antes do prazo estabelecido pelo Governo Federal, que é o mês de junho de 2014. “Estamos focando nossos esforços para garantir a conclusão de todo o corredor até janeiro de 2014. Assim, estaremos melhorando a qualidade de vida dos usuários de ônibus que vão ter um sistema mais confortável e eficiente de transporte”, disse o secretário referindo-se ao sistema de BRT (Bus Rapid Transit – Transporte Rápido por Ônibus) adotado pelo estado para os principais corredores da Região Metropolitana.
Ordenamento do tráfego local: para facilitar o ordenamento do trânsito e agilizar o tráfego local a Secid reuniu diversos órgãos. Estão envolvidos no esquema especial agentes do Departamento Estadual de Trânsito de Pernambuco (Detran-PE), do Departamento de Estradas de Rodagens (DER), do Batalhão da Polícia Rodoviária de Pernambuco (BPRV), do Batalhão de Trânsito da Polícia Militar de Pernambuco (BPTran-PE) e da Prefeitura Municipal de Olinda.
Corredor Norte/Sul - o corredor Exclusivo de BRT do Eixo Norte/Sul faz parte do Programa Estadual de Mobilidade Urbana (Promob), responsável pela implantação de 100 km de corredores exclusivos do transporte rápido por ônibus (TRO), na Região Metropolitana do Recife.
O corredor Norte/Sul conta com recursos do PAC Copa e PAC da Mobilidade e do próprio Tesouro Estadual. A obra está sendo executada pelo Consórcio Emsa/Aterpa, com início em Igarassu até o Terminal de Joana Bezerra, com ramificação para o centro do Recife, via Cruz Cabugá. Ao todo, tem um investimento de R$ 247 milhões, sendo R$ 151 milhões para o trecho Igarassu/Centro do Recife e R$ 96 milhões para o ramal Agamenon (Tacaruna/Joana Bezerra). Somando os dois eixos, o corredor conta com 43 estações e 37,9 km de extensão.
Senador Nivaldo Rodrigues Machado – O Projeto de Lei Ordinária nº 14870, sancionado em 11/12/2012, de autoria do deputado estadual, Ricardo Costa, batizou de senador Nivaldo Rodrigues Machado o viaduto de Ouro Preto.
Nivaldo foi professor da Faculdade de Direito de Olinda, escriturário, agente administrativo e agente fiscal do imposto de renda. Exerceu os mandados de vereador, por duas vezes, entre 1947 a 1955. Em seguida, exerceu o cargo de prefeito de Olinda (entre 1955 a 1959). Nivaldo foi eleito deputado estadual entre os anos de 1959 a 1983 e de senador entre os anos de 1985 a 1991.

The Santan Freeway Loop 202 is in the southeast valley of Phoenix. Onsite Insite offers the only billboards along a 23-mile stretch of the Santan Freeway Loop 202. This billboard is between I-10 and the Price Freeway Loop 101 at Gila River Indian Community next to Chandler, AZ.

I-95 southbound just beyond the I-295/I-495/US 202/DE 141 interchange near Newport. Now begins the Delaware Turnpike, as shown on the left sign, and on the right sign shows how there is a welcome center in the median several miles up. The welcome center is part of the large service plaza that's present there, and is a main stop for motorists traveling between the BWI metro area to Philadelphia and New York.
In the U.S. state of Colorado, Interstate 25 follows the north–south corridor through Colorado Springs and Denver. The highway enters the state form the North near Carr and exits the state near Starkville. The highway also runs through the cities of Fort Collins, Loveland, and Pueblo. The route is concurrent with U.S. Highway 87 through the entire length of the state. I-25 replaced U.S. Highway 87 and most of U.S. Highway 85 for through traffic.
Historical nicknames for this route have included the Valley Highway (through Denver), Monument Valley Highway (through Colorado Springs), and the Pueblo Freeway (through Pueblo).
Interstate 25 is also considered to be part of the unofficial Pan-American Highway.
The interstate leaves Colorado Springs between exits 153 and 156, where I-25 enters the United States Air Force Academy, going through the east side of the territory.
I-25 leaves El Paso County and enters Douglas County at Monument Hill, elevation 7,352 feet, north of Monument. I-25 then continues north through more rural and hilly areas areas east of the Rocky Mountains until reaching Castle Rock at exit 181. I-25 continues through rural and hilly portions of Douglas County until interchanging with E-470, the partial beltway of Denver as the toll road serves the Centennial Airport and the much larger Denver International Airport.

I invite you to join me in a short ride over a German Autobahn. I know that for many car enthousiast the Autobahn must be le non plus ultra in freeway driving. But the truth is, that less than half of all Autobahn kilometers do not have a speed limit.
This is Autobahn 2 east of Bad Oeynhausen, going to Hannover. For most of this full 10 minutes my speed is between 140-160 km/h. You'll see me driving from unlimited speed section to an 80 km/h limit road construction.
Notice the number of cars passing me. Do also notice the very small number of sedans and minivans.

The Ayalon Highway is one of the best roads in

4 to 5 lanes in each direction, from the Herzlia
interchange in the north, to the Holon and

Interstate 80 (I-80) traverses the northern portion of the U.S. state of Nevada. The freeway serves the Reno–Sparks metropolitan area, and also goes through the towns of Fernley, Lovelock, Winnemucca, Battle Mountain, Elko, Wells, and West Wendover on its way through the state.
I-80 follows the historical routes of the California Trail, First Transcontinental Railroad, and Feather River Route throughout portions of Nevada. Throughout the entire state I-80 follows the historical routes of the Victory Highway, State Route 1, and U.S. Route 40 (US 40). The freeway corridor follows the paths of the Truckee and Humboldt Rivers. These rivers have been used as a transportation corridor since the California Gold Rush of the 1840s.
I-80 enters Nevada in the canyon of the Truckee River, paralleling the California Trail and the First Transcontinental Railroad. Upon exiting the canyon the freeway serves the Truckee Meadows, a name for the urban area consisting of Verdi, Reno, and Sparks. The freeway passes north of Downtown Reno in a depressed alignment before intersecting Interstate 580 / U.S. Route 395. The intersection with US 395 is the busiest portion, averaging 122,000 vehicles per day in 2006. The freeway passes through downtown Sparks via a viaduct over the casino floor of John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino Resort. After leaving the Reno/Sparks metropolitan area the freeway resumes following the Truckee River in a canyon to Fernley. Traffic volumes drop to 26,600 vehicles per day by Fernley and continue dropping to 8,400 by the time the freeway reaches the center of the state. The freeway exits the Truckee River corridor near Wadsworth.
