A beautiful beach with mother and daughter and their dog. A fun moment captured for all time. Running hand in hand with their cute dog on the sand. The gorgeous sea lapping the shore behind them.

I made this quilt in the last weeks and got it finished yesterday. It is 100% inspired by this amazing quilt: www.flickr.com/photos/39332868@N06/5751407919/ All fabric used are from Jay McCarrolls Habitat and Moda Crossweave in natural. I used Quilters Dream Puff as a batting, I love that it is light and puffy. The first quilt for on our sofa!!

I am just a wee bit obsessed with Anna Maria Horner's new line "drawing room". It is home dec weight, which I love to use, especially for jumpers and rompers.

I've finished up my pillow for the Pillow Talk swap! Someone needs to get ready for a rather large pillow cover... it's fit for a 24" square pillow.
I used the wonderful Joseph's Coat Quilt Along tutorial from the www.dontlooknow.typepad.com

Only a few more to make!
I wanted to make a quilt with my hope valley for a very long time but did'nt know the rigth pattern for it. I find that the prints are tiny and I did'nt like the look of it in a large scale. When I noticed this quilt www.flickr.com/photos/39332868@N06/5772709374/in/set-7215... from Angela I thought that it would be great for Hope Valley plus I wanted to make a string quilt for some time now. So for the last weeks I have been doing a lot of cutting, sewing and tearing, SO much fun! Thanks for the idea Angela!
