Pippi Longstocking – full Swedish name: Pippilotta Viktualia Rullgardina Krusmynta Efraimsdotter Långstrump – is probably (one of) the most famous freckled girl(s) in the world ;-) Independent, very strong (she can lift her horse with one arm), adventurous, imaginitive, clever...
A little on the simple side this week, I know, but I didn't have much time last week, so I decided to stick with my first idea: Pippi's freckles and the CMYK printing dots for MM's third theme in 2018, #Speckled .
Size of Pippi's face: 4 cm (1,5 inches), captured from the cover of the picture book "Pippi findet einen Spunk" ("Pippi Loves Spunk" – an excerpt from the book "Pippi in the South Seas" from 1948), drawn by German book illustrator Katrin Engelking, published in 2009.

Pippi Langstrumpf – voller Name Pippilotta Viktualia Rollgardina Pfefferminz Efraimstochter Langstrumpf – ist sicherlich eines der bekanntesten sommersprossigen Mädchen auf der ganzen Welt ;-)
Ein bisschen simpel, dieses Mal, das gebe ich gerne zu, aber ich hatte wenig Zeit in der letzten Woche und so blieb ich bei meiner ersten Idee für #Speckled – gesprenkelt: der Kombi aus Pippi's Sommersprossen und den CMYK-Druckpunkten. Abfotografiert vom Cover des Bilderbuchs "Pippi findet einen Spunk" (ein Auszug aus "Pippi in Taka-Tuka-Land", 1948), liebevoll von der freien Illustratorin Katrin Engelking gezeichnet und als Bilderbuch umgesetzt (erschienen 2009 im Oetinger Verlag).

Taken last spring on a neighborhood walk.
Enjoying my LeLutka head and personalising it even more. Added some freckles, namely because I have them all over my face irl too. Also loving this hairbase.
Took these on a hot summerday last august out in the country, she is extremely photogenic. Love her freckles!
Freckles loves Spurn Point and one of his favorite things to do there is run around on the beaches. He was very tired out on the way back after all the running about!
An unusual sighting at Oxley Common. First Freckled Duck I've seen there. Thanks to the Canada Crew for pointing me at it!

As promised in yesterday's post, a cute photo of Freckles.
We're working our way up the side of the mountain on
very precarious concrete steps. Temperature and humidity
are off the charts, every bug in Thailand is right here trying
to eat your sweat drenched body. Monkeys screeching and
screaming while swinging from the trees.Jungle song birds
are singing their tunes, a lonely gibbon calls out for a mate.
This is the real deal, welcome to my world ........................... ;-)~~

I tried here the new freckles by tetrodoxin to redo Cattleya's, and i must admit that i'm really glad how she ended up looking, lot more natural in my opinion.
