Finally visited the Frank Lloyd Wright home & studio in Oak Park on Saturday - and went inside, which I was too cheap to do last time I was there. It was a very interesting and enjoyable experience.
This money clip was inside the F.L.W. box of temptation. Here's the description from the back of the box:
"This product features an abstract petal design, which has been adapted from the vestibule light of the Frank Thomas House (Oak Park, Illinois, 1901) Wright described the ornamental pattern as 'opening flower-like to the sky.' ...
" ... This Frank Lloyd Collection (TM) product is authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Taliesin West, Scottsdale, Arizona, and has been developed with the cooperation of The Museum of Modern Art, New York."
I'm no photographer, but hopefully the picture is clear enough that you can see at least some of the more intricate details.
