8 July 2024 - Cairo, Egypt – Within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between the leading United Good Food Organization (FAO) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the “6 Youth for Growth in Agricultural and Food Systems” project, through which it aims to establish green agricultural clubs in youth centers in the governorates of East, Wadi El Jadid, and Assiut.
The main purpose for establishing Agricultural Clubs is to promote the importance of agriculture amongst Egyptian youth and anchor, in them, the affiliation to earth and its produce. It aims at fostering sustainable agriculture and food systems transformation in a way that is attractive and vibrant to children and youth.
FAO organized a training of trainers (TOT) workshop for new graduates from the Ministry and the governorate directorates on how to establish an agricultural department in youth centers, in coordination with the Central Youth Administration.

Project Framework:
This zine is intended for young adults aged 15-30 who have a more liberal observation of the world. It is intended to inform such individuals on current events, focusing on the path to stability. Stating potential solutions to the worlds conflicts, but also highlighting that instability and uncertainty are in fact the most stable and certain factors of the world.
The visual concept is intended to play to their common interests of pop-culture and retro stylisation (hauntology). I intend to print this zine on '100# book' with a smooth finish, playing to the idea of comic books being printed on smooth paper.
Due to the pandemic and not being on school/university campuses this zine will in the meantime be distributed on Instagram. Many educational accounts have surfaced over the last year, hoping to educate youths on current issues, particularly politics, helping to make them more informed for when voting occurs. The name of the zine is also to subvert the common name used for those who affiliate to the left of the political spectrum. Arguing that snowflakes are all beautifully individual but very powerful when they work together.
I came here for a visit when I was in SP. If I'm in visual effects I'd really wanna work here. You may have heard this company recently because they are behind the upcoming animated movie "Sing to the Dawn".
