Detour #2 for today. Had to turn around on my way back home (attempting to beat traffic, only to delay and hit more traffic - totally worth it). Will be going back here.
Here's a close up view of the back of one of the two dimensional building units for the Underpants set. The drawing on the floor is used by the carpenters as a guide as they put this wall together.
This gaping space is stairwell. The staircase will be jarrah treads with 2 pack white risers. I'm thinking a balustrade with chrome on it somewhere - a reference to deco.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, engagements highlighted the crucial roles of women in peacebuilding and governance. Meetings with women leaders—ranging from elected officials and civil society to the Mothers of Srebrenica—emphasized the critical role of women’s voices in reconciliation and peace processes. High-level discussions, including with the BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs, explored Bosnia and Herzegovina’s contributions to global gender equality frameworks such as the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda. The mission also marked International Day of Rural Women, honoring the resilience and contributions of rural women across Bosnia and Herzegovina and underscoring their vital role in community cohesion and economic stability.
