This image and the other 41 images in this set represent the work of the North Puget Sound Oil Risk Management Panel in 1999 and 2000.
I was part of a mediator/facilitator team who assisted the panel in ten sessions in over 150 hours of conversation, debate and dealing that resulted in having a rescue tug placed at Neah Bay in the event of an oil spill.
Baghdad, 18 March 2014 – Under the framework of UNAMI’s Interfaith Dialogue initiative, with the aim to improve political dialogue and national reconciliation, representatives of the UNAMI Office of Political Affairs and Office of Public Information attended today the Eid Bronaya (Baptism Ceremony) of the Sabean Mandean. The celebration is one of the pillars of the Mandean and is conducted at the Tigris River from March 16-21. It was another occasion to meet the worldwide spiritual leader of the Sabean Mandean, Sheikh Sattar Jabaar Al-Hillo, Sabean Mandean Representative in the House of Representatives MP Khalid Ameen Roomi, and members of the Sabean Mandaean Council.
In the framework of the National Model United Nations held in Azerbaijan on 20-23 February 2016, the historical simulation of the UN Security Council on the case of the resolutions on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was organised. It was the first kind of simulation model that pictured the historical event in a mocking game.
36 people participated in the simulation conference during four days. The sessions were moderated by Sabuhi Khalili and Parvin Rahimli. The resolution on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was sponsored by France, the Russian Federation and the United States of America and adopted unanimously. As the result of the game, the participants were awarded with certificates. For their outstanding contribution to the committee the following delegates were awarded at the closing ceremony.

Ralph built a shade cover over the pond. This is at the framed stage; he has since laid boards across the top. We're going to plant vines (possibly passion flower and/or trumpet vine) at the base of each upright post & that will eventually provide most of the shade. And no, it isn't really lopsided, that's just the angle at which it was taken.

I began taking a class at The Public School this past Sunday. It was great little introduction into Open Frameworks and am very excited to take my knowledge of Processing to the next level with more Low-Level code. There is much to learn. 12-14 June 2022, Cairo/Minya, Within the framework of implementing the project entitled “Improved Livelihoods, Nutrition and Empowerment of Rural Women and their Families affected by COVID-19 crisis in Minya Governorate - OSRO/EG/102/Canada” and its work plan, a visit to Cairo and Minya was foreseen for Mr Nikita Eriksen, GAC’s Food Security Specialist during the period 09 – 15 June 2022. Mr Eriksen is interested in the food crisis as it is a major preoccupation of senior management at Global Affairs Canada so his visit/discussion will be very relevant to informing Canada’s global and local response. He is also interested to better understand the particular challenges of the Egyptian agriculture sector and intersection with climate change
As per the attached Agenda, Mr Nikita Eriksen shall visit FAO office on the 12th of June then will undertake a field mission to Minya on the 13th and 14th of June to have an overview of the project implementation activities and attend a nutrition awareness campaign. The field mission shall take place in 2 villages: in Deir El Garnous, Maghagha District and in Derwa in Mallawi District.
