Framework built and door hung. Hard to believe this will be light tight one day!

Opening Ceremony

The objectives of the opening ceremony include welcoming participants as well as setting the framework for the Sixth Mediterranean Forest Week (MFW). This session will also inform participants of the global and regional com- mitments regarding climate change with an overview of the latest outcomes of the three Rio Conventions.

The Ministry of Agriculture, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), is hosting the Sixth edition of the Mediterranean Forest Week (VIth MWF) at the Grand Hills Hotel, Broumana, on 1–5 April 2019. The weeklong event brings together policy and decision makers, forest administrators, researchers, practitioners, donors, civil society organizations, and social and environmental based non–governmental organizations to share and promote the use of forest–based solutions to assist Mediterranean countries in the implementation of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement.

August 2014

Taken during a trip to an artist village in Shenzhen where tons of original paintings are copied onto new canvases. Since I saw so many paintings that day I was really confused and therefore thought about expressing my feelings about that day through a photo . I held my hand as steady as possible and then zoomed-in while releasing the shutter (not too bad for such an effect while not using a tripod). In photosho, I did some minor changes to photo itself, I added a frame which "bites" into a the photo but has a different texture and here is the result.

The framework was made with steel fencing posts bolted together

Long shaded raised border and back pathway behind vegetable beds (soon to be filled with compost etc).

It's true. Get a bike.

First I screwed some wood to the back of the table, using 2" L-brackets. It seemed like this wouldn't be stable enough to hold 9" of dirt so I added two cross-braces—luckily my table is shorter than 8' (the length of the board) so I had a bit left over
