Basic framework completed for the first of three baseboards for Skipton. A cross-brace will be put in the middle once point motors are installed.
In the framework of the Good Water Neighbors project, FoEME gathered 30 young leaders from three schools in the Jordan Valley region (Kings Academy, Madaba Jordan; Terra Sancta, Jericho Palestine; Geon Hayarden, Beit Shean Israel), to learn about the state of the Lower Jordan River and see its upstream origins. The unusually rainy weekend didn't stop the group from hiking in the mud, enjoying the river's natural beauty and visiting the ancient city of Beit Shean.
The tour was focused on empowering the youth for launching a campaign on the issue. A media workshop session followed the tour in which different tools for raising awareness were disscussed and the group created an action plan for filming a student film on the Lower Jordan River. This will be followed up by a second meeting, in Jordan, to film on the Jordanian side. We look forward to viewing their production!

At the Eighth Environment for Europe Ministerial Conference (Batumi, Georgia, 8–10 June 2016), ministers endorsed the Pan-European Strategic Framework for Greening the Economy. This tool supports countries in their efforts to transition to the green economy and, at the same time, contributes to the implementation of the SDGs. To make the Strategic Framework a reality, Ministers also launched the Batumi Initiative on Green Economy (BIG-E), consisting of voluntary commitments to operationalize the Strategic Framework until 2030. At present, 115 commitments have been submitted by 25 countries and 12 organizations. These commitments specify concrete actions for moving towards greener and more inclusive economic patterns. With regard to air quality, ministers reconfirmed their commitment to reduce air pollution and protect public health and ecosystems by endorsing the Batumi Action for Cleaner Air (BACA). So far, 26 countries and 3 organizations have submitted 88 voluntary commitments to this initiative. The BIG-E and BACA initiatives remain open for stakeholders to join. Countries are invited to announce their new commitments for greening the economy and cleaning the air in a talkshow format.

Lab2014 students presented their final design explorations for Benjamin Bratton's Critical Frameworks section, "2 or 3 Things I Know About The Stack" at The California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Calit2) at UCSD. The group visited an immersive 3-D projection "CAVE", a 4K digital theater and the nanotech cleanrooms on campus, as well as The Salk Institute for Biological Studies.

Due to the rapid adoption of social media, I’ve come up with a new Social Media Framework aimed to empower Business and Communities beyond Social Media. It’s based essentially on Human Business Interactions.
To me, the social media framework aids comprehension of workflow experiences by describing their components, it also optimizes my social media workflow in an easier way since a framework may include components that are applicable to them all.

theater accent
The Theater Accent is a since 1989 existing stage, it was founded by the Vienna Chamber of Labour in the framework of Adolf Czettel-educational center in the 4th district of Vienna Wieden (Theresianumgasse 18).

History
The theater was built on the grounds of the former Palais Nathaniel Rothschild as succession building of Franz-Domes home. Its foundation was described as a special concern of individual leading functionaries of the Chamber of Labour. The postmodern architectural style by architect Rudolf Jarosch initially was discussed controversially and, for example, referred to as a "functionary Baroque" or Palazzo Prozzo. The house (without own ensemble) but has established itself as a fixture in the cultural life of Vienna. Three theater halls (the actual theater with proscenium stage and 455 seats, the podium, an auditorium with 384 seats and the studio) are available. The programming focuses on current social topics: theater, concerts, cabaret, children's events, readings but also intercultural programs are offered. A mix of well-known artists and young talents yielded in 2008 an occupancy rate of 86.06% and a capital coverage ratio of 71%.

Geschichte
Das Theater wurde auf den Gründen des ehemaligen Palais Nathaniel Rothschild als Nachfolgebau des Franz-Domes-Heims errichtet. Seine Gründung wurde als besonderes Anliegen einzelner führender AK-Funktionäre beschrieben. Der postmoderne Baustil des Architekten Rudolf Jarosch wurde zunächst kontrovers diskutiert und etwa als „Funktionärsbarock“ oder Palazzo Prozzo bezeichnet. Das Haus (ohne eigenes Ensemble) konnte sich aber als Fixpunkt im Wiener Kulturleben etablieren. Drei Theatersäle (das eigentliche Theater mit Guckkastenbühne und 455 Plätzen, das Podium, ein Veranstaltungssaal mit 384 Sitzplätzen und das Studio) stehen zur Verfügung. Die Programmierung fokussiert auf aktuelle gesellschaftliche Themen: Theater, Konzerte, Kabarett, Kinderveranstaltungen, Lesungen aber auch interkulturelle Programme werden geboten. Ein Mix von bekannten Künstlern und Nachwuchstalenten erbrachte 2008 eine Auslastung von 86,06 % und einen Eigendeckungsgrad von 71 %.
