Within the framework of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, Egypt’s National Council for Women in partnership with UN Women Egypt launched a new phase of the public screenings of the award-winning film “Between Two Seas” starting with two public screenings in Qena governorate on 27 & 28 November. The screenings were attended by around 100 women and men from the governorate who watched the movie and participated in the discussion afterwards. During the discussion that was moderated by the National Council for Women Rapporteur, the audience shared their views and questions about the topics featured in the film such as violence against women and female genital mutilation. Between Two Seas is the outcome of a collaboration between the National Council for Women, as part of their belief in the important role that cinema plays in changing negative perceptions towards women in different societies, and it was made possible through the generous support of Government of Japan and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) UN Women and development partners. The film is produced by Axeer, written by Mariam Naoum and directed by Anas Tolba.

This session will present the first draft of the Statistical Framework for Measuring Sustainable Tourism (MST) under development
by the Working Group of Experts on Measuring Sustainable Tourism. The framework will support more integrated
and more sustainable management of tourism by providing a common language and organizing structure that integrates
the economic, environmental and social dimensions of sustainable tourism. In doing so, the framework will support policy
and analysis at the global, national and subnational levels. A panel of Chief Statisticians from around the world will comment
on this draft and discuss the two conditions for the framework to be truly solution-centred: relevance (whether the
framework includes the information required by users) and feasibility (how statistical solutions can be found).

SAS® Social Network Analysis An integral component of the SAS Fraud Framework * Overview * Benefits * Features * Screenshots Fraud is a growing problem for banks and insurance companies, in large part because it is so hard to detect. SAS Social Network Analysis helps institutions detect and prevent fraud by going beyond individual and account views to analyze all related activities and relationships at a network dimension. Benefits * Gain a holistic view of fraud. * Identify more fraud while greatly reducing false positives. * Double or triple investigator efficiency. * Prevent future fraud.

Surendra Reddy (photo next) decomposed the book's RENAISSANCE framework on flip charts in his home office. But if that does not impress you, check out the rack of HP DL 320 servers and some Sparc 60s and Sun 2100 running Open Solaris. He says he runs a SIP cloud peering with free SIP Network as well as commercial pay-as-you-go SIP network. As you can see he loves acronyms of any length!
