new and improved theoretical framework, feel free to comment. Dutch description:

Really curious about what this used to be. Old directories indicate that there used to be a hotel, a theater, and a restaurant on this block (2xx S. Edwards, south side) but I don't know which of those, if any, this would have been part of.

The old I 195 deck that crosses Point Street/Bridge Street is the unofficial gateway to the Wickenden street commercial district. The bridge abutments and columns are adorned with art and advertisements welcoming visitors to the neighborhood. The artwork has been partly obscured for years by a rusty framework that bolsters the aging highway superstructure. The new "Iway" has replaced this part of 195, and demolition of the old section has begun, and so has the beginning of the end for these urban murals. This is/was my road bicycle. The frame and fork is made by Demon Frameworks, from Reynolds 953. It is built up with Campagnolo Athena, Royce/Ambrosio wheels, a Brooks Team Pro saddle, a smattering of Nitto parts, Time pedals. The toptube/seattube/seatstay joint was poorly brazed (shown in other photos), and a crack started to develop in the joint after just a few rides, so the frame never saw much action :(
