i need new glasses, but finding frames that i love is such a chore. also, its going to be hard to beat my current pair. these, so far, are my favorite.

Here the desk chair was hitting the wall. Instead of adding a chair rail, which would have been too high, and painting below, we added a larger frame over the large picture and really drew your eye to the wall in an unusual way. Now the chair hits the wood frame and doesn't mark up the wall.
Assignment: Natural Frames
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to take a photo exhibiting the compositional technique of "Natural Frames". Frame your scene with the elements all around you, this will help to focus attention on the main part of the picture. Branches of trees make great natural frames for landscape and nature images. Using windows as frames can also help. A picture in a picture if you like.
Restriction: Photos must be photorealistic. This is not about frames added with Photoshop.
Dare: Come up with a startlingly novel frame (not a tree or window), surprise us!.

What it took:
I grabbed a bunch of shots over the last month for this assignment and ended up liking this one the best. Not great, doesn't meet the dare, but it was taken on a camping trip and reminds me of good times with friends.
