SOmetimes we look for elements in nature to help fram a shot but occasionally nature supplies one that's perfectly complete just waiting for you to push the shutter.

another actual frame from a motion time-lapse scene shot last week on the beach.

A very nice frame of my original shot from Cintia Scola - Thank you Cintia for the frame! It is a good color scheme for the frame and shot.

FIRES DE SANT NARCÍS

Girona, October 25 to November 3, 2013

(Image taken with a roll film camera). (Click on the image for more details). Shield the camera from the wind and spray with my body while waiting for a crashing wave. Calculate exposure with a handheld light meter on incident mode.

(Spanish: El trípode se estaba moviendo por el viento, así que me puse como escudo del viento y las gotas del mar, mientras esperaba capturar el golpe de la ola. Calcule la exposición con un medidor de luz de mano).

Technical Info: Film camera: Mamiya RB67, Lens: Sekor C 50mm (like a 24mm lens on a full frame), Aperture: f/32, Shutter speed: 1/2 sec, ISO: 100, Film: Kodak Ektar 100, Filters: polarizer, tripod: Manfrotto 190XPROB, head: 496RC2, Process: Scan on Epson V600, edit for colors and details on Topaz Adjust 5, then remove dust spots from film on Photoshop CC. And last tunning on Lightroom 5. Location: House of Refuge, Stuart, Florida Taken: on February 21, 2015.

From a wet walk in the woods on Christmas afternoon.

This small cemetery made for an interesting foreground subject for the approaching trains in the background on this overcast day at the Strasburg Railroad. Our photo charter got us to some really great spots to take some pictures and videos of this historic short line railroad in Lancaster County, PA.

Pentacon Six TL w/ Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar 120mm f/2.8 and Kodak Tri-X 400TX (Kodak HC-110 dil. B, Ilford rapid fixer). f/4.8, 1/250s. Epson V600 and EpsonScan @ 4800 dpi, downsized to 2400 dpi. Retouched and cropped.

Tri-X and HC-110 is really a winning combination. I don't get why it's not more popular. Especially since D76 is just a disappointment, both in stock (fuzzy and non-sharp images) and diluted (bad tonality). The only reason why you use D76 is because somebody put it on your hand or it was told to use it by an instructor.

Received lots of compliments on this outfit. So figured I'd show it off a bit more here.

I'm sporting some new hair too. It's close to my natural hair color. It feels very natural to appear this way.

Well - back to reality. Sigh.

No matter what your looking at, it's always framed by something. Sometimes it a physical frame, sometimes it's your frame of reference.
