Henry Moore's bronze "Three Piece Reclining Figure: Draped" (1975). Fuji X-E2. Multiple parts, fragmented life, and the re-membering is the unfinished job.

Backstory: This piece is one of a dozen in my Fragments series, some of which are still in development. The series is premised on the notion that we are all made whole by God, but that we only ever live our lives in fragments, inches to time lived, then remembered, then remade. Each of the pieces in this series are made of fragments from other images, like the impressions, and knowledge, and friendships, and experiences that comprise our individual lives.
Each has a background built for it, then a square image collection of fragments superimposed over it.
Was tossing up between colour and black and white for this, the colour won this time, but you may see the black and white version at a later date.
I'm pretty sure it's the top half of a rabbit skull, it isn't very big; I picked up on one of my country walks.

Elle passait parfois, laissant derrière elle une trace de silence et de fragilité. Chaque détail, chaque ombre semblait murmurer son absence, comme un secret non dit. La chambre, témoin de son passage, n’en gardait que des fragments — une chaise, une lingerie, un souffle suspendu. Tout était dans l’attente, dans ce qui n’a pas été dit, mais qui se devine.

This is an image from my Fragments project.
Knowledge consists of fragments of information, of facts, of experiences. We arrange these fragments in some order and we get a narrative which forms into knowledge. If we arrange fragments in a different order, we will get a different narrative. But all the information remains.
