Ilford FP4 Plus 125 (expired)
Photographed on Ilford FP4+, rated at 64 ASA and developed with the Thornton 2 Bath process. The exquisite rendering of mid tones all the way through to the luminous highlights reminds me what a great pairing this is.
You owe it to yourself to try the Thornton 2 Bath developer! (see: grahamp.dotinthelandscape.org/photodata/thornton.html)

From my recent trip to Finland, the Uspenski Cathedral in Helsinki.
For some reason, my scanner seems to have problems rendering the fine warm nuances in the print. It does with all prints made on this paper. Tried to faithfully adjust the white balance in post here so that it actually matches the print.

Here's a glimpse of how my brain works. Three similar photos taken from the same spot with the same exposure. First seemed not optimal with these strange inclusions left and right. Second was slightly better, possibly also balanced, with third I went into 'ooh, shiny!" mode and went for the glow in the backlit trees. Looking at it now, it seems like the first photo was the best: obvious 'flaws' remind it's made by human and I like the composition.
Shortly after I took the third photo, the dark cloud in the background went away and the sun came out with full force.

This creature (a mink I belive) just ran in to my photo from nowhere. And a bland picture suddenly became more interesting.
