I was super thrilled to be able to photograph this beautiful red-tailed fox in the late evening, on the lake surrounded by mother natures ice sculptures.
Amazingly sweet, loving, loyal and gentle dog.
She will be dearly missed
Stay healthy
Happy Clicks,

A Fantastic four days and three nights in Algonquin Park! I've always wanted a shot of a Marten with snow on his face. A Gr8 trip and some lifers yet to put up.
Even though they are quite common in urban settings, this is the first encounter for me to actually be within range of getting a couple of images. Such a Beautiful Animal.
This was my very first time ever seeing a fox kit! This mother fox was absolutely Beautiful! :)
Taken last Spring.
This Gorgeous fox was out and about yesterday, it was such a frigged day, but the sunshine made up for it. Always nice to see a fox in the snow!

This is the 2nd of the two foxes that lay down near us on the Cape Chase Road near Mistaken Point. This is a remarkable region, designated as a United Nations Heritage Site, more than 90 shipwrecks (hence the title Mistaken Point), historical events such as its proximity to the sinking of the Titanic (nearest shore) and seabirds, fisheries (Great Banks), make this entire region worth the effort to visit.
This fox lay down on the roadway and its mate lay down even closer on the Cape Chase Road near Mistaken Point. This is a remarkable region, designated as a United Nations World Heritage Site, (greatest collection of multicellular fossils on earth), more than 90 shipwrecks (hence the title Mistaken Point), historical events such as its proximity to the sinking of the Titanic (nearest shore) and seabirds, as well as fisheries (Great Banks). All this makes the entire region of the Avalon Peninsula in south eastern Newfoundland and Labrador worth the effort to visit. For this fox, well, its old news. Subsequently, this fox has been identified as a subspecies of the Red Fox, called the Insular Newfoundland Red Fox.
Be extra careful as you approach corners or blind spots when driving in the Rocky Mountains. Some wildlife are on the roads. Here a Hoary Marmot ventured out to lick the natural salt deposits on the asphalt. As a vehicle approached he high tailed it back to the safety of the ditch. My heart was in my throat thinking I might see something terrible happen to him, but all ended well on this day.
While Betty Buick was stopped on BC Highway 8 south of Spences Bridge waiting for a big horn sheep herd to cross the road, we were being watched by poppa, momma and baby who appreciably posed for their family portrait.
Yeh, right, they aren't a family, don't know each other & don't trust humans but they did practice appropriate COVID-19 social distancing protocol whilst surveilling us.
A special moment captured, taken in the tall grasses in Algonquin Park. This image was a struggle, as they were faraway, winds were high, this is heavily cropped.
Found at EVolved Creatures, and is part of the Ember's Cauldron Shopping event!
