A sun chariot,a ritual object
The sun ,an old dustbin lid ,gilded with toffee wrappers,a childs rusty rocking horse found on a dump, the ribs garden forks and the wheels from a chicken coop.
Inspired by tye famous Danish Trunholm Chariot and made in 1995
seabird skull, mirror shards, seed pearls, thread, human hair, wool felt with embroidery. and a hunk of wood. it said 'ausone'.
Some days it bothers me that I'm so lazy at spelling...it is not like I don't know how to open and use a dictionary.

HAVING lots of fun in PARIS==lots of FOUND OBJECTS photo ops--including CESAR in the LUXEMBORG GARDENS...yes, a hunk dressed in a togo as CESAR for his bachelor party. he was a great sport as everyone was taking photos of him.
Though my fav FOUND OBJECT was a piece of blue and white pottery chard found after workers dug up pipes in the LUXEMBORG GARDENS. humm, its nice to think that it came from the destruction of the king's place way way back when.
speaking of destruction, our US dollar to the EURO...omg...what is that FRENCH word you just learned...yes, eating alot at home,,, hence the TROU DU CRU and bagettes, and wonderful fresh veggies!
and of course, one always celebrates destruction...yes, tomorrow, is the GRAND ANNIVERSARY OF THE MAY 1968 STRIKE that crippled PARIS...so, yes, everything will be shut down...we do not plan to venture far from home. as, to get in the spirit, this weekend the busses were on limited or NO run schedules. good time to stay in the neighborhood....which we love, and apparently our upstairs neighbor who purchased her place way back in 1962!
SO, tomorrow is TROU DU CUE day ,,,and we;ll just stay in the neighborhood and have fun...
