The pinky charm was found sad and lonely on the sidewalks of Stamford, CT. I knew she needed a better home, so a wooden circle and some "Project Runway" brand rhinestones did the trick. The finding on pinky allows it to be worn as either a brooch or a pendant.

Artist Statement:
An orphaned boot on a handmade skate. The remnants of someone’s resourcefulness, or someone’s punishment. In this piece, time is not linear. It’s vertical — layered beneath rust, dust, and the weight of lives unrecorded. 'The Last Step' is about what we leave behind and who notices when it’s too late.

Osha Neumann. A very crappy picture of very amazing art. There are a whole bunch of them in this spot.

Rebecca's Oyster Man - Found Object project: one man-made, one organic object combined into a sculpture.
A huge, 3D dog made entirely of cast-off, raw materials: "automotive bits and pieces, wood, worn farm implements..."

Doodle with my favorite kind of sushi: tobiko with a quail's egg on top. I know the idea of eating raw eggs turns off some people (and it can be unsafe, depending on the source), but one of my favorite childhood treats was always my Mom's freshly cooked Japanese rice mixed with a dollop of soy sauce and a raw egg.
