All art is but imitation of nature.-- Seneca (Letters from a Stoic - Letter LXV: On the First Cause)

The universe itself is God and the universal outpouring of its soul. --Chrysippus (Quoted by Cicero in De Natura Deorum)

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness

Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun

Conspiring with him how to load and bless

With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;

To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,

And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;

To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells

With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,

And still more, later flowers for the bees,

Until they think warm days will never cease,

For Summer has o'er-brimm'd their clammy cells. --To Autumn. by John Keats

Format size does mean something, these days when it comes to decision making- which camera to bring for a short trip or for weekend shooting, the breath-taking depth of medium format always wins. That's why I am struggling for a folding camera, a Bessa perhaps...

well, it's already been 3 months since I adopted my last camera... XD

After seeing Toms beautiful Mamiya 6 I've once again begun my search for one of these beautiful cameras.

Mamiya 6 : Kodak Portra 400 NC

Before I started shooting portraits with the new film, I decided to test it on pears. An unpleasant and rare experience with a defective Fomapan 400 had its effect)))

At the same time, I also checked the reaction of this film to non-actinic lighting, under which I had to cut it to fit a 9x12 cassette format, insert it into the cassette and develop it in a cuvette.
