a group of t-38s i belive, flying around the river park in Tulsa, ok.. it was like a private air show
You would think that there would be plenty of room to fly around up there. Not with pelicans. They simply love to group up tight and "shoulder" their way through the air. Their view of tight formation involves frequent near collisons. Their air speed is considerably lower than the terns and gulls and the legions of "fast" varieties so I could manage to keep a group in the viewfinder as they cruised around.

It's difficult to see, but this was taken inside the carlsbad cave. it is a large formation...very neat to look at.
A zodiac cruise in the iceberg filled Cierva Cover along the west coast of Graham Land, Antarctica. Jumping penguins, some marine mammals and unique ice formations are the highlight here.

We see geese flying all the time, but for some reason I never shoot them. Shooting with a camera that is. I was hanging out at Cultus lake on the dock and my shirt was back on and everything - tanning done for the day. About to head out when the flock was so loud it was impossible not to look.
Rock formations around Sarahs Knob, a hill about 1.5 km NW by W of Mount Myuna and about 1 km S of Gurra Causeway, in Heathcote National Park.
