This view of a forest trail near Whitehorse presented a mysterious feeling. I wanted to add emphasis to this so I filtered the image with that in mind. This is a huge departure for me. Generally speaking, I try my best to avoid any sort of image enhancements that exagrate the natural colours, tones, hues or overall impression of the photo. Let me know if you think the finished image is effective at conveying the magical feeling of the place.

Ashridge Park, Hertfordshire, UK
For a couple of weeks in May in each year, many of the woods in the UK are carpeted with English Bluebells. The ancient woodlands on the Ashridge Estate, managed by the UK’s National Trust, are home to one of the finest examples of massed flowering bluebells that are an icon of Spring in England. Here, the English landscape is transformed into a sea of blue – almost as far as the eye can see.
For only a few days, the sapphire of the bluebells is also contrasted with the emerald green colors from the newly emerging foliage of the beech trees in the spring landscape – a natural gem from Mother Nature. Soon the foliage is thick enough to obscure the light and the blue flowers will be gone for another year.

Agrotourism in Blota/Mud (splendid microclimate just 13 km from Sierakow). The resort Matecznik/Backwoods is located in the depth of the resinous pine forests, in the Marianowo Administrative Country District. Places of entertainment: volleyball court, picturesquely situated soccer field, fireplace, grill, and a place to hold a feast in the open air. Both the tourist stations in Bucharzewo and Blota offer board and lodging, and horseback riding.

A so-called berceau or beech-covered walkway. In the past, the ladies of the estate would stroll here in the shade, keeping their skin fair and untouched by the sun. 300 meters long.
