In addition to the nice consist that came west earlier that day, the VLPCTAC also rolled into South Seattle with a neat pair of locomotives elephant style: KCS #4849, a GE ES44AC, and KCSM #4520, a GE AC44CW. They were hauling an empty train of newer autoracks that were being repositioned to the Port of Tacoma.

Arizona is a state in the Southwestern region of the United States, sharing the Four Corners region of the western United States with Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. Its other neighboring states are Nevada to the northwest and California to the west. Arizona is the 48th state and last of the contiguous states to be admitted to the Union, achieving statehood on February 14, 1912. The southernmost portion of the state was acquired in 1853 through the Gadsden Purchase.
Southern Arizona is known for its desert climate, with extremely hot summers and mild winters. Northern Arizona features forests of pine, Douglas fir, and spruce trees; the Colorado Plateau; mountain ranges (such as the San Francisco Mountains); as well as large, deep canyons, with much more moderate summer temperatures and significant winter snowfalls. There are ski resorts in the areas of Flagstaff, Sunrise, and Tucson. In addition to the internationally known Grand Canyon National Park, which is one of the world's seven natural wonders, there are several national forests, national parks, and national monuments.
Arizona is home to a diverse population. About one-quarter of the state is made up of Indian reservations that serve as the home of 27 federally recognized Native American tribes, including the Navajo Nation, the largest in the state and the country, with more than 300,000 citizens. Since the 1980s, the proportion of Hispanics has grown significantly owing to migration from Mexico and Central America. A substantial portion of the population are followers of the Roman Catholic Church and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Arizona's population and economy have grown dramatically since the 1950s because of inward migration, and the state is now a major hub of the Sun Belt. Cities such as Phoenix and Tucson have developed large, sprawling suburban areas. Many large companies, such as PetSmart and Circle K, have headquarters in the state, and Arizona is home to major universities, including the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and Northern Arizona University. The state is known for a history of conservative politicians such as Barry Goldwater and John McCain, though it has become a swing state in recent years.

Navajo Upper Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest, on Navajo land east of Lechee, Arizona. It includes six separate, scenic slot canyon sections on the Navajo Reservation, referred to as Upper Antelope Canyon (or The Crack), Rattle Snake Canyon, Owl Canyon, Mountain Sheep Canyon, Canyon X and Lower Antelope Canyon (or The Corkscrew). It is the primary attraction of Lake Powell Navajo Tribal Park, along with a hiking trail to Rainbow Bridge National Monument.
The Navajo name for Upper Antelope Canyon is Tsé bighánílíní, which means 'the place where water runs through the (Slot Canyon) rocks'. Lower Antelope Canyon is Hazdistazí (called "Hasdestwazi" by the Navajo Parks and Recreation Department), or 'spiral rock arches'. Both are in the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation. They are accessible by Navajo guided tour only.

In 2019, ownership of the truck changed once again, as it was sold to Holst Kloakservice, DK-8660 Skanderborg (image here flic.kr/p/2rtYbBg ), where it remained until finally retired in 2022. Through all the years, it kept the same original license plates, and the actual livery also didn't change, except for the company markings.

Retirement age for trucks: many used trucks are offered for sale on international markets. If sold to a foreign buyer, this will not be listed in the danish motor registry, so a "retired" truck may or may not have been exported. In other words, the "retirement age" only shows the age, at which the truck stopped running on danish license plates.

Sangaris : première patrouille pour le GTIA Centurion
Le 13 juin 2015, la compagnie VBCI du GTIA (groupement tactique interarmes) Centurion a effectué ses premières patrouilles dans Bangui. Quelques jours après leur arrivée en Centrafrique, les légionnaires ont remplacé les tirailleurs du GTIA Turco. À bord de leurs VBCI, ils patrouillent plusieurs fois par jour, dans Bangui et ses alentours, afin d’appuyer la MINUSCA dans sa mission de sécurisation de la capitale.
La section VBCI du 2eREI (régiment étranger d’infanterie) a quitté en fin de matinée le camp de M’Poko pour rejoindre l’Est de Bangui. Au cours de leur progression, les légionnaires ont été immédiatement au contact de la population en traversant le marché en pleine effervescence qui borde l’avenue reliant l’aéroport au centre-ville. La section s’est ensuite engagée sur des pistes étroites en latérite bordées par des rizières et des hautes herbes, où le VBCI a une fois de plus démontré sa capacité à évoluer sur des terrains difficiles.
Après une demi-heure de trajet, les légionnaires ont débarqué des VBCI pour poursuivre leur patrouille à pied afin de gagner la maison du chef de quartier. En chemin, des villageois ont abordé la section pour signaler la présence de coupeurs de route à quelques kilomètres de là. Le chef de section a donné l’ordre à la section de réembarquer à bord des véhicules blindés afin de rejoindre rapidement la zone indiquée par la population. Après avoir sécurisé les lieux, les légionnaires ont constaté que les brigands avaient déjà fui, dissimulés par une végétation très dense.
Au cours de leur patrouille, les légionnaires ont croisé à plusieurs reprises des détachements de la MINUSCA qui patrouillaient dans le centre-ville de Bangui. Ils sont en effet plus de 2 300 casques bleus à sécuriser la capitale.
Chaque jour, la force Sangaris conduit des patrouilles dans Bangui et en province, de jour comme de nuit, par tous les temps, afin d’appuyer la MINUSCA dans la sécurisation et le retour de l’autorité de l’État en Centrafrique.
Lancée le 5 décembre 2013 par le Président de la République, l’opération Sangaris vise à rétablir un niveau de sécurité minimale en République centrafricaine et à appuyer la mission de l’ONU, désormais pleinement opérationnelle.

Kadriorg Palace (Estonian: Kadrioru loss, German: Schloss Katharinental) is a Petrine Baroque palace built for Catherine I of Russia by Peter the Great in Tallinn, Estonia.
Both the Estonian and the German name for the palace means "Catherine's valley".
It was built after the Great Northern War for Nicola Michetti's designs by Gaetano Chiaveri and Mikhail Zemtsov.
The palace currently houses the Kadriorg Art Museum, a branch of the Art Museum of Estonia, displaying foreign art from the 16th to 20th centuries.
The KUMU branch of the museum, showing Estonian art from the 18th century onwards is located nearby in the park.
After the successful siege of Tallinn during the final phase of the Great Northern War in 1710 czar Peter the Great of Russia bought a small Dutch-style manor house at Lasnamäe for his wife Catherine. The house today is the result of a drastic renovation ordered by Nicholas I of Russia in 1827.
However, plans for a larger palace in the area soon developed and construction of a new palace, Kadriorg, was started on 25 July 1718.
Peter and Catherine visited the unfinished residence on several occasions, but after the emperor's death in 1725 Catherine showed no interest in the seaside property. The great hall with Catherine's initials and profuse stucco decor (attributed to Heinrich von Bergen) survives, while many other interiors have been altered.

Over the last year, i have spotted so many foreign trucks, that it would take forever to upload the trucks at the normal upload rate i have. I am certainly considering creating a new 'truck-spotting' account, devoted just to foreign trucks, as well as some interesting UK-registered ones too.
For now, i'm only uploading trucks of which are of interest (in my opinion), including trucks from rare and distant countries, ones with foreign personalised plates and other attributes.
This rather lovely Volvo FH 500 from Austria was driving down the M2 motorway. It featured very fitting personalised plates for the company the truck was working for, Road International, based in the town of Rankweil, located just a few miles north of Feldkirch in the Feldkirch district. The district lies on the borders of Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Personalised plates aren't too hard to obtain in Austria, costing only 245 euros, including administrative fees. Personalised Austrian plates are rare to see here in the UK, despite this.

Action Dasty made by Max Zapf Doll Co/ German foreign doll company.
I bought this doll on eBay she’s a Dusty Kenner type look a like doll but is not since her company brand marking is different then the American Dusty doll. She had the same friend named Skye as the American Dusty and the same horse named/called Nugget as the American Dusty doll.
The only difference of this doll to the American Dusty is that she had an actual made boyfriend doll named “Hardy” that was a Action man/GI Joe type Action doll knockoff with flocked hair. Hardy came with ether as a Caucasian Doll or an African American Action Doll he was labeled as a adventure out doors type of guy that likes rock climbing and doing all type of sports action outdoor type stuff. These same dolls were also used by the company of Max Zapf also labeled as Adventure Team with the dolls including Action Hardy (Hardy) same boyfriend of Dasty but the black or white doll and Sports girl Denny (Dasty) which used a different name and came with their small 🐕 with accessories.
These dolls are rare since these are the German version of Dusty. I recently bought this doll on eBay and I’m glad I did. I also bought the catalog ad of both Dasty and Hardy which is a good find.
