19 September 2013.
So, this is the start of my second 365 Project! Last time I got up to day 174, so I'm hoping I will complete the project this year. I'll keep a list of potential photos I can take, and use that when I run out of inspiration. Foolproof right? ;) I hope this next year from now on will be an exciting year with new experiences and opportunities that will make an awesome project to look back on!
Today I become 22 years old. So, new year, new project, new age, a new notebook to save the project in. And a new 50mm lens! From Dhwani, Lara, Elma & Vish. Thank you all so much! Was exactly what I wanted :D And I will test him out properly tomorrow. I've decided to print out the photos this year and stick in the notebook, so for now I've decided not to watermark the photos, the text and colour doesn't always look good. May start doing it later, we'll see.
Wish me luck! :D
Ant tending a young Silvery Blue (Glaucopsyche lygdamus) caterpillar.
Backus Woods, Norfolk County, Ontario, Canada.
June 3, 2016.
Ants can help you locate Lycaenid caterpillars on their hostplant. It's not foolproof, but this Ant definitely helped me see the tiny, well camouflaged Silvery Blue larva.
Lycaenid caterpillars produce "honeydew" which the Ants covet. In return, Ants tenaciously protect the vulnerable larvae from parasites and predators. Aphids also produce honeydew for Ants, so sometimes you'll find aphids instead of caterpillars.

Credit rating Risk Administration is actually a complete bundle for protecting the Banks from chance of failing as credit history threat handles 90% in the overall chance of any Lender. But, CRM fails to look like the foolproof option for credit score threat. Numerous Banking institutions have already been bankrupted however there was a credit score risk administration method. As banks gives loan to the client from the depositors' money, failure of bank harms the depositors directly.Read more information see this (German: risikomanagement bei banken ) (English:Germany Nonprofit & Activism).
Here's one of my favorite saw sets. Although I think the Somax saw sets are simply the best out there for smaller teeth, I very much like the Morrills patented saw sets for larger teeth. They're comfortable to hold, very easily set and with the broad plunger as well as anvil they are pretty much foolproof to use. This Apex model was introduced around 1910.

Silvery Blue (Glaucopsyche lygdamus) female laying egg on Cow Vetch.
Backus Woods, Norfolk County, Ontario, Canada.
June 3, 2016.
While I was searching Cow Vetch for Silvery Blue caterpillars, this female landed right in front of me and proceeded to lovingly deposit an egg. With the 65mm MP-E lens on my camera (my 100 was out of reach), so that's all I had to work with. Fortunately, my subject didn't object to my "objectif photographique", and allowed me to invade her personal space, shooting from only a couple of inches from the front of my lens. :-)
Once she flew off, I photographed the egg--then found another egg that had been laid previously on a nearby stem of the same Cow Vetch plant.
Here's the egg that she laid:
www.flickr.com/photos/74102791@N05/27411049756/
Believe it or not, the eggs are actually easier to spot than Silvery Blue caterpillars. The eggs are are slightly aqua, and stand out nicely against the pure green Cow Vetch. The caterpillars, on the other hand, are perfectly camouflaged on Vetch buds.
About the only way I was able to find the one caterpillar I photographed was to follow the Ants. Ants tend and protect the caterpillars in return for honeydew. Watching the Ants is far from foolproof, because there are also Aphids on the Vetch. Most of the time I found Ants I was unable to locate a caterpillar because they were tending Aphids, which also offer honeydew to Ants in return for their protection from predators and parasites.

This turned out sooo yummy. I used the vodka pie crust recipe from Cook's Illustrated that I am now in love with: www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2007/11/cooks-illustrated-foo...
Here's how I made the filling:
6 eggs
shredded mozzarella
brei
10ish mushrooms, diced
1/2 onion, diced
1 shallot, diced
3 cloves garlic, diced
salt
pepper
crushed red pepper
butter
canola oil
Heat up canola oil (olive oil is prob better, but i'd run out) in a big pan. Toss in the mushrooms (Which you have cleaned w/ a damp toothbrush or mushroom brush! If you run your mushrooms under water they'll be all watery, yech). Once the mushrooms have soaked up most of the oil in the pan, toss in slices of butter. When the butter is melted, add the onion, shallot, and garlic and mix it all together till the onoins/shallots are translucent and it smells yummy. Add salt, pepper, and red pepper to taste.
Crack 6 eggs into a mixing bowl and beat 'em. Add the mushroom mixture and the mozzarella and mix it all together, then pour it into the pie crust.
Bake @ 375 for 20 minutes. Then take out the pie and add 6 - 8 slices of brie to the top in a sunburst pattern. Put that baby back in the over for another 10 - 20 minutes until the quiche is solid and not runny. Let it cool, and then eat it up! (It's also good served w/ hot sauce... May I recommend Cholula brand?)

DIgital computers and Microsoft Windows were beyond the wildest dreams of the people who designed these analog computers used on the battleship USS Missouri. They served their purpose of being easy-to-use, reliable and foolproof for the 45 years the ship was in service.
Modified the wings by simplifying the plates. Nice part is that everything is better supported, though keeping the outer 1x2x2 slopes attached is impossible to make foolproof. From an aesthetic point of view, it's nice to have all the bricks lined up instead of offset as they'd have to be if the wing cannons were further out in its original location.
The maker of my wave ski sent these out as a retrofit when he discovered that his skis were de-lamming in heat.

The bolt in the center unscrews to expose the GorTex airway and is tb removed once a year of to clear out any crystalized salt.
Other than that, it never gets touched: supposedly just sits there and lets the board breathe without taking on water.
My first reaction was that it's too good tb true and if the windsurfing industry isn't using these things, something's wrong with the idea.
I honestly am trying to figure out how to make the crust correctly, and needed some eggshells for my seed starting of carrots, sooooo I decided QUICHE I had some shrimp I needed to cook today, started with 1/2 an onion carmelized in olive oil, added about 5 huge handfuls of chopped baby spinach and about 14 shrimp, deveined and shelled, then in a bowl mixed up 4 eggs, 1/2 cup milk, dash of nutmeg and pepper, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese mixed with 1/2 cup flour.....let the cooked filling cool then added to the eggs and put in the homemade lard crust from the alton brown recipe with the salt omitted....
crust did not want to brown, and tasted like it needed something, not salt, now I am thinking sugar! next attempt I might add some, it came up nice and flaky but just not PERFECT...ahhh more work to figure it out!

It's been a little while in the making but all good things come to those who wait - just like a nice cold pint of Guinness.
This is the first release compiled solely by label founder Fature and includes an exhibition of genres to once again show the diversity and talent of the Faturenet collective.
Starting up-beat and in-your-face slowly developing into experimental, downtempo, melodic and chillout moods, there should hopefully be something for everyone in this desirable experience.

This species is a regular visitor. It likely wants to bathe or feed, and is checking out the surroundings before proceeding lower. These birds are usually spotted in large flocks; they swarm over my thistle feeder in a tumbling mass, and usually perch close enough to permit great photo ops. They are plentiful during high summer and typically ignore my presence, some even landing on my focused camera! Sexes are determinable... but it's not foolproof, especially for first-year birds. I'm not sure about this bird's sex... but I would lean toward male.

Do you want to throw a party in Sydney that will be spoken about for years to come? If you're looking for a solution, hiring a DJ is your best bet. A professional DJ can liven up the party, play the music that fits the occasion, keep visitors entertained, and even cut costs for the host. This essay will discuss four scenarios in which a party in Sydney might fail without a DJ. Put your feet up and settle in for some in-depth reading on the topics of Club DJ Hire Sydney, Party DJ Hire Sydney, DJ Hire, DJ Hire Sydney, and Video DJ Hire Sydney.
A DJ is a great way to get the party going
Having a DJ at your party is a foolproof method of getting people up and moving. A trained DJ can gauge an audience's mood and preferences to determine which songs will go over best. They're great for setting the mood that makes people want to hang around and have a good time for longer.
A competent DJ is aware of the psychological and physiological effects that music has on listeners. They have the ability to combine songs together without breaking the flow, producing an upbeat atmosphere that lasts all night. If you want to keep your guests interested and involved throughout your party, a musical journey like this is a must.
Having a live DJ who can pick up on the energy of the crowd in real-time is another major perk. They can modify their performance to fit the energy level of the crowd at any given point in the event. They can play everything from energetic melodies to mellow jams to keep the event flowing smoothly and ensure that no one is bored.
Overall, it's a good idea to hire a DJ for your Sydney party
because that will guarantee a lot of fun for you and your guests.
A Disc Jockey is a Great Resource for Party Music
If you're not familiar with a wide range of musical styles and genres, picking the proper tunes for a party can feel like an insurmountable challenge. A DJ is useful in situations like this. A professional DJ will know just what to play based on your tastes and the atmosphere of the party, as they have access to a wide range of musical styles and eras.
When you hire a DJ, you can talk to them about the kind of music you like. Give them a playlist or a list of songs that should be played at specified times during the event. They're also able to take suggestions from visitors without deviating too much from the party's theme.
DJs may also read the mood of the crowd and modify the music accordingly. If they see that particular song get people up and moving, they'll play more music like that to keep the party going.
A good DJ will adapt their song choices to fit your every requirement, from soothing dinner music to lively dance tunes. By delegating this task, you can relax and enjoy the party without having to check in to see if your guests are having a good time on the dance floor.
A DJ is a great way to keep your party going
One of the most crucial aspects of hosting a successful party is providing enjoyable activities for visitors. And if you want to make an impression, hiring a DJ is the way to go. A good DJ can feel the vibe of the crowd and keep the party going strong.
DJs are able to keep the party going by playing songs that everyone likes. They have mastered the skill of blending musical styles to keep the dance floor packed all night long. They have everything you might want, from oldies to the latest releases.
DJs do more than just spin records, though. Using tools like video projection or LED screens, they may project eye-catching visuals onto walls or ceilings, effectively setting the mood.
And don't fret over the potential for uncomfortable pauses in between numbers! Skilled DJs can gauge the mood of the crowd and switch effortlessly from one song to the next, keeping the party going strong.
If you want your guests to have a good time and not become bored during your wedding reception, business event, or birthday party, then you should think about hiring a DJ.
A disc jockey is a cost-effective addition to any celebration
If you're throwing a party in Sydney, hiring a DJ is a no-brainer. A skilled DJ can inject life into your celebration, advise you on the best musical selections, and keep your guests amused all night long. In addition to assisting you in keeping your party costs down, they will also provide sound equipment and lighting systems.
Keep in mind that nothing beats having a skilled DJ on hand to help you and your guests have a fantastic time at your next party or event. If you live in Sydney and are planning a party soon, you should choose a Club DJ to choose Sydney or Video DJ Hire Sydney service that will assist you in every step of the preparation process. There's no telling how epic of a time you'll be able to produce with their help and your own ideas for the party.

How to Choose the Best Firearm For You
Las Vega Gun Ranges are ideal for firearm educations. Whether you’re a gun novice or have been practicing shooting your whole life, you might find yourself seriously considering if purchasing a gun to own for yourself might be the right decision. Deciding to buy your very own gun from a firearm and weapons shop can definitely be intimidating. Even if you have experience shooting, you might be overwhelmed with all of the different gun options available to you.
Of course, if you have less experience shooting and don’t have someone in your life to walk you through the process, it can be even more intimidating having to learn all about calibers, kickback, magazines, and all the other gun terminology. At Las Vegas Gun Range we’re proud supporters of education and learning about guns, not just having a fun time shooting. Here are some foolproof tips for beginners to keep in the back of your mind as you start figuring out how to purchase the best firearm for you.
The first thing you’ll want to do is to clearly identify your goals and purpose with this gun. Are you trying to hunt game, shoot competitively, or just want to be able to defend yourself and protect your loved ones if you ever find yourself in danger? Of course, different guns are best tailored to different tasks, so you’ll want to have a clear purpose in mind before you go shopping.
Relatedly, you should consider if you are comfortable keeping a loaded gun in your home. Revolvers are generally simpler and easier to operate, but if you’re keeping a gun for emergency defense, you might not be able to take the time you need to load. Semi-automatic or auto-loaders might be the better option for you if you don’t want to keep a loaded gun in your home (or if the local gun laws don’t permit it).
Next, before you go about buying your very own firearm, it’s important that you take a firearms training course. If you can, try to pick a training package that will have you using and firing the type of gun you plan to own.
For example, whether you’re planning to keep the gun stowed in your home for emergency defense situations or if you’re planning to learn how to hunt, it’s important to learn to be safe.
Whether you come on down to the Las Vegas Gun Range or a different Clark County shooting range, or even if you’re reading this article from across the country, it’s important that you have experience firing a gun before you buy one, so that you learn to get familiar and comfortable with how it feels to handle a gun. Additionally, the experts at the Las Vegas Gun Range can you offer you some advice on the different models of guns that might be best for you.
When you’re holding different guns and trying to choose the best one, you should be remembering your size and stature. A gun that is too bulky or too small will not only feel uncomfortable and awkward to hold, but it will be more difficult for you to operate correctly. You’ll want to consider factors like the frame, the barrel, and the grips.
Most firearm manufacturers have the same model with different frame sizes, so be sure to try out a few different sizes to see how they feel. You might be surprised to hear that the popular small, lightweight handguns often pack a hefty recoil and are hard even for experts to shoot accurately. You’ll want to practice repeatedly even after you make your purchase so you know you can operate perfectly under stress.
Another thing you need to keep in mind is that buying a gun is an investment you have to budget for. Don’t try to cut corners buying a cheap gun from some no-name brand, but be sure to pick something from a trusted brand.
Buying a used gun might be the right option for you to save some money, but you should have a reliable expert look it over before you start shooting with it to make sure there are no problems.
Las Vegas Gun Range invites you to come on down today if you’re looking to gain some experience shooting or want to talk to an expert about the best gun for you. Remember, your safety is always the priority!

Here's one of my favorite saw sets. Although I think the Somax saw sets are simply the best out there for smaller teeth, I very much like the Morrills patented saw sets for larger teeth. Foolproof Pie Dough
Vodka is essential to the texture of the crust and imparts no flavor, do not substitute. This dough will be moister and more supple than most standard pie doughs and will require more flour to roll out (up to ¼ cup).
2 ½ C unbleached all-purpose flour
1 tsp table salt
2 T sugar
12 T (1 ½ sticks) cold unsalted butter cut into ¼ inch slices
½ C cold vegetable shortening, cut into 4 pieces
¼ C cold vodka
¼ C cold water
1. Process 1 ½ cups flour, salt and sugar in food processor until combined, about 2 one-second pulses. Add butter and shortening and process until homogenous dough just starts to collect in uneven clumps, about 15 seconds (dough will resemble cottage cheese curds and there should be no uncoated flour). Scrape bowl with rubber spatula and redistribute dough evenly around processor blade. Add remaining cup of flour and pulse until mixture is evenly distributed around bowl and mass of dough has been broken up, 4 to 6 quick pulses. Empty mixture into medium bowl.
2. Sprinkle vodka and water over mixture. With rubber spatula, use folding motion to mix, pressing down on dough until dough is slightly tacky and sticks together. Divide dough into two even balls and flatten each into 4 inch disk. Wrap each in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 45 minutes or up to 2 days.
