I shot this about 5 minutes before the park was closing one night. A CM was nice enough to let me in the Fast Pass line to take it. This area is set up so nice for the perfect picture. All you have to do is set up your tripod and go for it. I hope you enjoy.
You're always brilliant in the morning
Smoking your cigarettes and talking over coffee
These foolish games are tearing me
You're tearing me, you're tearing me apart
And your thoughtless words are breaking my heart
You're breaking my heart
Your philosophies on art, Baroque moved you
You loved Mozart and you'd speak of your loved ones
As I clumsily strummed my guitar
I guess it was foolish of me to think that it was MY place, that I was the only one that knew about it and the only one that went there... but, yeah, I'm foolish. I thought that because it was off the road, where you couldn't see it, that it was safe. I never saw people there, except once, and they were hunters, not interested in my windows and barns. But the past few times I was there, I had suspicions. One time I purposely left something there, it was taken. The last time I was there, the barn door was ripped off, I thought that maybe it was from the storm. But today, I went back to the place that I affectionately refer to as "Goat Farm" for the first time since the big snow storm. I guess there are others that are are hardier than me... and they got there first.... and broke every window in the house, except for one. Not only did they break the glass, they knocked out the wooden panes too. The pretty white window frames, with the rippled glass, and a few cracked panes, where I frequently went to set up my props and where I took some of my favorite photos. I would open the windows for my photos, but always closed them, and shut the door when I left. Last fall, I discovered that the windows on the back of the house, that has a stone foundation, were every bit as good as the windows on the front of the house. Actually one of them became my very favorite window. They broke those too, and knocked out the wooden panes. The step stool that I found there, and stored in the basement, they broke that too. I'm sure we all have a certain subject that is our favorite thing to shoot, the thing that we always go back to, the thing that gives us the most joy and brings out our creativity and our best work. Mine is old, broken down houses ...windows and doors. Today, I walked away from that place, and while it's also foolish to cry over broken windows, I did anyway. I felt like maybe it's time to just put my camera away for awhile. The level of disappointment and disgust that I feel for people this week is pretty much off the charts. Maybe this is the Universe's way of telling me that it is time that I start working on my "Two Year Plan" and that I spend way too much time with my camera. Well, if that's the case... then, the Universe kind of sucks too. What the heck is wrong with people anyway? :' (
The smaller window on the right is the only one that remains intact. So sad. I'm sure they'll be back to break that one too, in time.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY:)))
Everywhere I look around
Love is in the air
Every sight and every sound
And I don't know if I'm being foolish
Don't know if I'm being wise
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when I look in your eyes
Love is in the air
In the whisper of the trees
Love is in the air
In the thunder of the sea
And I don't know if I'm just dreaming
Don't know if I feel sane
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when you call out my name
Love is in the air
In the rising of the sun
Love is in the air
When the day is nearly done
And I don't know if you're an illusion
Don't know if I see it true
But you're something that I must believe in
And you're there when I reach out for you
Love is in the air
Every sight and every sound
And I don't know if I'm being foolish
Don't know if I'm being wise
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when I look in your eyes!!

To make mistakes is human; to stumble is commonplace; to be able to laugh at yourself is maturity.

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Good Morning everyone. I decided to edit a shot of the Haunted Mansion foyer. It is no secret that this is one of my most favorite rides here at the Magic Kingdom. In my opinion, this has to be one of the toughest rides to capture on camera because of the lighting. I hope you enjoy my shot and thanks for looking. Theres no turning back now.

This picture reminded me of the old Indian tale of "The foolish tortoise" a quick little video is here. in case you're not acquainted with that story.
This pic almost looks like the tortoise is being scolded for talking!
Well in case you failed to notice
In case you failed to see
This is my heart bleeding before you
This is me down on my knees, and
These foolish games are tearing me apart
And your thoughtless words are breaking my heart
You're breaking my heart
At last I have finished my video for my original song, My Foolish Heart. It has been the most challenging technically of all the videos I have produced so far. I chose so many photos and artwork that I ended up with 11 ½ minutes for a 3 minute song!! I didn't want to lose any of the pictures, so I had to go about this in a totally different way … compressing and condensing until finally I managed to achieve what I set out to do! Never give up!!! That's a good motto!
: 0) I hope you enjoy it. I have altered the lyrics slightly from the original “poem” that I posted. Writing a song and writing a poem are two entirely different things and the same components don't always transfer perfectly to the musical composition. I had to change the music a little because I thought it sounded so familiar that I was worried I had heard it somewhere. It wasn't until I finished adjusting the musical score that I realised it was something I had actually written when I was about 16 years old, but hey ho! Not to worry, because I think it was meant to happen that way, like most things …
; 0) Life is full of serendipitous things … happy little accidents!
: 0) I hope you enjoy it. I certainly had fun doing it and learned a lot along the way <3
p.s. At the end you can hear the mournful cry of the peacocks hiding from me! ; 0)
“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”
- Ashley Smith
MY FOOLISH HEART
My foolish heart can't take no more
I cry at night; my feelings hit the floor
and in the darkness I think of you
and my heart tears a little bit more for you're not true
The shadows grow and darken deep inside of me
it's hard to see the light until my heart breaks free
I know I've got to let you go
I know I've got to let you go
but it is hard to do the right thing, you should know
At last I fall asleep and dream
but fitfully in grey and cream
there is no room for black and white
for the little grey areas are more prominent at night
When I wake up to greet the dawn
I hear the peacocks cry mournfully on the lawn
the sun shines in and warms my face
The sun shines in and warms my face
there's no room for sadness; gladness takes it's place
I have survived another night
I have come through another self-inflicted fight
now it is clear; the veil falls free
my eyes are open wide to meet the change in me.
I rise up high above the clouds
I shout your name and then goodbye so loud
you must hear me; let me fly free
you must hear me; let me fly free
for my wings can never be clipped; so let me be
For every fading memory and written word
I see before me flying free a fragile bird
it's wing-ed bones like angel's wings alight
the sun's warm rays; transparency in flight
For every spoken word of love a flower grows
and tilts it's face to Heaven like it knows
that lightness of our beings feed upon
the lightness of our beings feed upon
the caress and the love we find beyond
I stand in tranquil silence to face the day
my hand moves up to wipe my tears away
I'm ready for this moment
I am ready for this moment
I'm moving on to where I'm supposed to be.

And maybe one foolish photographer. No, the most difficult part of seascape photography is not composition or keeping your feet dry (as an online 'expert' recently suggested). Feet don't melt.
In my short experience the most difficult thing is keeping the front element of the lens (or whatever filter is in front) sufficiently sea-spray free so that pictures aren't stuffed. The best trick i've found is to keep the air-blower thing handy and to blow the spray away. The second 'best' trick is to use a good solid heavy tripod that isn't easily troubled by water.
I was much too close here and everything got quite wet because the sea is an unpredictable monster. I had also set the focus point too close to my feet. So I guess the third 'best' trick (or maybe the best one) is not to get too close!
Have a fantastic weekend!

Aerosmith - The other side
Lovin' you has got to be
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Like the devil in the deep blue sea
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Forget about your foolish pride
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Oh take me to the other side
(Take Me To The Other Side)
My mama told me there'd be days like this
And man she wasn't foolin'
'Cause I just can't believe the way you kiss
You opened up your mouth with bated breath
You said you'd never leave me
You love me, you hate me,
I tried to take the loss
You're cryin' me a river but I got to get across
Lovin' you has got to be
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Like the devil in the deep blue sea
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Forget about your foolish pride
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Oh take me to the other side
(Take Me To The Other Side)
I'm lookin' for another kind of love
Oh Lordy, how I need it
The kind that likes to leap without a shove
Oh honey, best believe it
To save a lot of time and foolish pride
I'll say what's on my mind, girl
You love me, you hate me,
You cut me down to size
You blinded me with love and,
yeah, it opened up my eyes
Lovin' you has got to be
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Like the devil and the deep blue sea
(Take Me To The Other Side)
My conscience got to be my guide
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Oh honey, take me, take me, take, take, take, take
Take me to
The Other Side
I'm lookin' for another kind of love
Oh, Lordy, how I need it
The kind that likes to leap without a shove
Honey, you best believe it
Now I ain't one for saying long goodbyes
I hope all is forgiven
You loved me, you hate me,
I used to be your lover
You know you had it coming, girl
So take me to The Other Side
Take me to The Other Side,
take me to The Other Side
Lovin' you has got to be
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Like the devil and the deep blue sea
Take Me To The Other Side)
My conscience got to be my guide
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Oh honey, take me to the other side
Lovin' you has got to be
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Like the devil in the deep blue sea
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Forget about your foolish pride
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Oh take me to the other side
(Take Me To The Other Side)
