"Stay hungry. Stay foolish. Never let go of your appetite to go after new ideas, new experiences, and new adventures."
Quote - Steve Jobs
I see a blue fish who almost has caught something ……. ;-)) And you…... what do you see?
Have a nice week ahead !
From my house-renovation archive.
I came in from the outside, burned out from a joy ride
She likes to roll here in my ashes anyway
Played from the bedside is "Stella By Starlight"
"That Was My Heart," the drums that start off "Night And Day"
The same kind of music haunts her bedroom
I'm almost me again, she's almost you
I wouldn't know where to start
"Sweet Music" playing "In The Dark"
Be still, "My Foolish Heart"
Don't ruin this on me
I wouldn't know where to start
"Sweet Music" playing "In The Dark"
Be still, "My Foolish Heart"
Don't ruin this on me
There's a war inside my head
And I'm drowning in regret
When the lights come down
Got an empty crown
My body's missing pieces
Can't pull it all together
My body's missing pieces
I wish I could remember
My body's missing pieces
Can't pull it all together
My body's missing pieces
I wish I could remember

The great entrance gate of the Buddhist temple Zōjō-ji. The gate is really called a Sangedatsu Mon (三解脱門) and anyone passing through here can rid oneself of the three passions of greed, hatred and foolishness. The gate dates to 1622 and is the only building at the temple compound that survived the Second World War.
Zōjō-ji was founded in the 14th century - at another place but it was moved here in 1590. During the Edo period it was one of the two family temples of the Tokugawa family (the other being Kan'ei-ji) and you can find several of their graves here. The temple is the main temple of the Chinzei branch of Jōdo-shū Buddhism.
Tokyo Tower can be seen to the right and dates to 1958.

'Those of us who had speaking parts were kept to
under 5 lines. Twain knows how to budget a film. Cheap bastard ! He knows the SAG rules !' en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Under-five [Zakk Bifrandt / Principal Actor/Flickr Artist]
' I absolutely hate ! Hate ! Hate ! This stupid Wind Light !
I wish that Twain would move on already ! Try Sunset , or, perhaps a nice Puce !!' [carisa franizzi/Flickr Artist]
'I taught a class on lighting and other topics that Twain attended. I could hear him chewing gum and looking about the room ....not paying attention. This is the end result.
I wish him well on his future endeavors. I really do.' [Belmont Kidd / Flickr Artist / Instructor]
'Twain ! Oh mon dieu !
[Lake Solee / Flickr Artist / Wonderful Friend]
'Well. I guess I'm more into the 'style World'. The movie itself was 'okay' ... the movie had some deep moments. It's a 'one time see and run' kind'a movie. I wouldn't see it twice. I like Twain. But, over all ... the movie was a bit of a drag to be honest.' [JJ Goodman / Flickr Artist / Fashion Expert ]
'I thought the film was suppose to be a bit of an enema. .....
Or ? ... No. I mean ... an enigma ! Make people think about
the town, the water ... the mystery of it all .. and with Zakk only having five lines, .. that would add to the mystery. Not much to go on. We didn't have much of a budget to speak of. So I made the most of it. I dun'no ? I gave it my best shot and the results at the Box Office have been mixed. The Movie Critics are calling me a Masterful Asshole .. so that must be good I think ? ... Right ? .. ' [Twain Orfan / Writer / Director /Producer]
Day after day
Alone on a hill
The man with the foolish grin
Is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him
They can see that he's just a fool
And he never gives an answer
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round
Well on the way
Head in a cloud
The man of a thousand voices
Talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever hears him
Or the sounds he appears to make
And he never seems to notice
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round
And nobody seems to like him
They can tell what he wants to do
And he…

"We didn’t need words sometimes. They would get in the way by over explaining and still unable to understand all the sentences that laid splayed out in front of us like a scrabble game with no vowels. Let’s sit in the quiet for awhile and just… Hold each other… Let this pass … We can find the words when they find us …. "

The night is like a lovely tune
Beware my foolish heart
How white the ever constant moon
Take care my foolish heart
There's a line between love and fascination
That's hard to see, how many names such as this
For they both have the very same sensation
When you're locked in the magic of a kiss
Her lips are much too close to mine
Beware my foolish heart
But should our eager lips combine
Then let the fire start
For this time it isn't fascination
Or a dream that will fade and fall apart
It's love, this time it's love
My foolish heart
42:52, photograph something you've never shot before, in a style you've never used, so it's not recognizable as yours
Strapped for time I processed this older image in a style I've never tried before. I hope it makes you nervous.
40009 and 40033 pass the signal box at Blea Moor with 1Z68, the Hertfordshire Railtours 'The Leuchars Aide'.
Running as 1Z68, the 0700 from Euston to Dundee, the Leuchars Aide was a marathon weekend tour. 86220 had provided traction to Wigan and the forties were taking the tour to Carlisle.
After Carlisle, the tour took a run up the Glasgow and South Western, then via Ayr to Glasgow. 47410 would later take over to run up to Dundee, passing through the aforementioned 'Leuchars'.
Photograph by the late Roger Siviter, now part of my collection.
Once Upon an Autumn when the sun was warm, the wind was cold, the colors were rich, and you were bold.
I dreamed about you and the soft whispers of yesterday.
The year we met seemed to stand still when all else was hurried and worried.
You were a light bringer, a source of inspiration, endless laughter, and a daydreamer.
In my time of need you were eager to please. I was empty inside and you filled me up though I was as fragile as a paper cup.
I will never forget the grace that ensued the following years. Through trials, errors, rejoicing, and fears. You always brought me what I needed. You helped me feel appreciated. The bad memories faded; unworthiness receded.
Years have gone by. The times we spent together still bring a tear to my eye.
You and me no longer meet under this tree. The times we spent go carefree. Time, she passes on and I continue to sing my silent song.
I gaze out my window, see the season's change. I watch the crisp leaves blow...
always wondering...
Do you know...
(Here's the part in the story where you can pick your own ending.)
A: That I'm now the one with the warm midsummer's foolish heart. As winter approaches, I pray these feelings depart.
For as I sit here in Autumn's full grasp and pine, I know I cannot have someone who is not able to be mine.
B: That I'm the one with the warm foolish midsummer's heart and in my thoughts you never depart. For as I sit here in Autumn's full grasp and pine, wishing upon a star that one day you would choose to be mine.
In my time away from Flickr, I have been doing some experimenting with merging two images together. This is my first attempt. I thought it was poetic how merging the two, like two hearts, are always better together. I may need to work on desaturating and my exposures. Critiques are always welcome.
I am thankful for a new computer, your support, kind favs, and comments.
To you all, I wish you a great weekend and a Happy Thanksgiving!
I was running down the road
The fear was all I knew
I was looking for a soul that’s real
Then I ran into you
And that cherry blossom tree
Was a gateway to the sun
And friendship, once it’s won
It’s won, it’s one
Northside
Just across the river to the Southside
That’s a long way here
All the green and all the gold
The hurt you hide
The joy that you hold
The foolish pride
That gets you out the door
Up on Cedarwood
Cedarwood Road
Sleepwalking down the road
Not waking from these dreams
‘Cause it’s never dead
It’s still my head
It was a warzone in my teens
I’m still standing on that street
Still need an enemy
The worst ones I can’t see
You can, you can
Northside
Just across the river from the Southside
That’s a long way here
All the green and all the gold
The hurt you hide
And the joy that you hold
The foolish pride
That sends you back for more
Up on Cedarwood
Cedarwood Road
If the door is open it isn’t theft
You can’t return to where you’ve never left
Blossoms falling from a tree
They cover you and cover me
Symbols clashing, bibles smashing
Paint the world you need to see
Sometimes fear is the only place
That we can call our home
Cedarwood Road
And a heart that is broken
Is a heart that is open
Open, open

As her boyfriend encouraged her to get closer I kept yelling for her NOT to put herself in danger. I don't think either person spoke English and only when she realized that I started taking her picture did she take heed. You may wonder why is a sun bear in an incinerator? It just had a confrontation with another bear and was seeking refuge which made the situation even more unpredictable and dangerous. She was a foolish little girl, but also a very lucky little girl.

Well it is no sooner that I returned to Flickr that I will be away again. After six amazing years living in the beautiful Kingdom of Thailand we will be returning to the USA next week. Time to concentrate on moving and getting settled into our new home. Hopefully, I won't be gone for long. It's been a spectacular ride here full of new friends and wonderful memories.
Thanks for visiting and best wishes to you all !!!

POV Series
Just back from a 15 day, 60 site Urbex marathon in Italy. With much appreciation, I'd like to give thanks to some wonderful people for helping make this trip a huge success...
Dr. Baab, lfieldhouse, ilConte, Parzival, FrogRos, Manouch, & GregoireC. Some people act very selfishly in this UE circle, while others share, build partnerships, and offer support to fellow explorers. These are the people who I enjoy sending my time with, for they understand the value of kindness. Cheers to all of you!!!
Nothing in the world is permanent, and we're foolish when we ask anything to last, but surely we're still more foolish not to take delight in it while we have it. If change is of the essence of existence one would have thought it only sensible to make it the premise of our philosophy.
