Hand dipped chocolate covered bacon for chocolate bacon ice cream.

I love sandwiches just as much as I love seagulls.

I made this guy from left over peameal bacon, add some avocado and sweet potato fries on the side.

I think I'll open up a sandwich shop called I Love Sandwiches lol.

Foodie fest in orange county

This Barneys holiday campaign is just pure fun - have you seen it?

"Have a Foodie Holiday" is in catalog, web and even window - in the Union Square store in San Francisco.

I love the 3D rosy cheeked Thomas Keller, surrounded by his visions of localvore farm to table "sugarplums".

Not to mention the charicature saute pans framing the display - from Mario to Paula to Ina.

I think it's now official - and I can say it outloud instead of just thinking it...

Happy Holidays are here again!

If there is something that I absolutely love on this day of all days, you have probably already guessed it. No, not seagulls. But close, lol. No, it's Pumpkin pie.

This awesome creation was my little handy work. I mean, under the guidance of someone who actually knows what they're doing, and not just taking a hammer to a pumpkin, smashing it to a pulp and calling it pie. So yeah, it came out quite nice as it turns out. Just like last years.

I could go on and on about pie (really, I could), but I'll just say that I'm thankful for pumkins all together. Because, Halloween, right.

Also, I'm thankful that I have come to a point in this new life where I'm so-so grateful to have these new people that have shaped and helped me sew and heal my previous wounds and sorrows. I'll just leave it at that.

Also, thankful for seagulls and mermaids. Because they exist you know. Mermaids I mean, lol. Happy pie day to you all.
