In August, 2016, within a two-week period, two brush/woodland fires burned into Summit Valley—the Pilot fire from the east, and the Blue Cut fire from the west. Both fires began outside the valley and burned into its remote ends, and both fires did considerable damage inside and outside the valley: the Pilot fire burned 8,000 acres, the Blue Cut fire 36,000 acres.
As the burned areas of the valley have begun to recover, spring flowers like these, in a burned clearing on the valley's southeastern end, help to fill in the open ground. Both flowers—poodle-dog bush on the left, and prickly poppy on the right—are known as fire followers, annuals which bloom for several years after a fire until more woody growth takes over; the fire followers' seeds then remain buried until their germination is stimulated by the heat or smoke of another fire.

I took this picture few days ago at Mallick Ghat, the famous place in Kolkata. On that afternoon I was there for taking some pictures with my camera, suddenly I found this. A couple was walking behind the hanging cloths and the shadow of the man looks dramatic. The famous Howrah Bridge hanging behind and connecting Howrah and Kolkata.
The gent is Dalmar Merrick, haughty high elf but overall decent necromancer, and the lady is my trustworthy two-handed nord Brunhilde Bonebreaker, who's all about ass-kicking and exploring ancient tombs. I've had these two followers forever and they're based on my closest peeps.
Nako Lake is a high altitude lake in the Pooh sub-division of the Kinnaur district. It forms part of the boundary of Nako village and seems that the village is half buried in the lake's border. It is about 3,662 metres (12,014 ft) above sea level. The lake is surrounded by willow and poplar trees. Near the lake there are four Buddhist temples. Near this place there is a footlike impression ascribed to the saint Padmasambhava. Several miles away there is a village called Tashigang around which there are several caves where it is believed that Guru Padmasambhava meditated and gave discourse to followers. There is a waterfall nearby which has snow water falling like a river of milk. Legend says that it is a heavenly realm of fairies. In one of the caves you are still able to see the live footprints of these fairies or other demigods. It is a sacred place for the people of these valleys.
Thanks, you guys have inspired me so much and I've meet so many great builders, and I hope to meet many more.
Gulf Fritillary and friend. My girlfriend says that the other insect looks like a flying turd from a distance. She's got a point, so you'll have to view it large to properly appreciate it LOL
I just got word from then man: We're late again!
Yesterday morning I was quite relaxed before Explore hit me hard. I had a vague idea what I wanted to do for the 350th follower, but at 343 that's quite a while to go, no need to do something hasty. Now I'm well beyond 370 with 33 new followers, thanks to having the 3rd place in Explore.
So hello new folks and thanks to my constant followers, bearing with my erratic photographing of everything I deem interesing.

Four and a half months after containment of the Woolsey fire. The abundant rain following the fire has resulted in many new flowers, often those that aren't seen very often. This is a fire poppy which as the name implies is known as a fire follower.
Wow, that's a huge number, isn't it?! I started my Twitter account just because I wanted to try that site, but actually Twitter became my main social media platform, so hitting the 1000 followers milestone is a huge achievement for me. Thank you everyone!
If you haven't seen my Twitter page yet, check it out and hit that "Follow" button! ;)

In the late Third Age of Middle Earth, the forces of Rohan and the Dunlendings of Dunland clashed near the White Mountains of Rohan. Led by Helm Hammerhand, the Rohirrim fought numerous skirmishes with the wicked men under Wulf. A siege of Helm’s Deep by the Dunlendings left Hammerhand’s sons and followers dead, only to be saved by his nephew, Frealaf Hildeson, who’s army slayed Wulf, forcing Dunland to surrender.

Apologies for the lack of posts, finally got snow here and wanted to shoot this for a while. This is also my first post as a member of @lotrlug ! Horse design by @amazebricks .
Wow. I can't believe that I reached more than half of 1000 followers! It has been a great journey coming this far, and I could not have made it without perseverance and continual support from all of my followers. As of recently, I have been trying to branch out of my military-hole and try some other categories, like my car, for example. I don't know whether you guys like that stuff or not, so just let me know.
As for my personal life, I have not had much time for LEGO lately, which is apparent in my recent lack of uploads. High school has been interesting so far, and I guess you could say I'm in a "Dark Age" of sorts that many LEGO builders go through, but I just want to say that I do not intend on quitting LEGO altogether, I actually have been working on my biggest build yet, being given a sneak-peek in the background here! It will be finished eventually, consisting of over 10,000 pieces I can assume and many hours of labor (trust me, elevation change is harder than you think).
I would like to take some time to mention some pivotal builders who have inspired my work and motivated me to become a better builder:
KingBrick, a highly skilled Neo-Apocalyptic builder and a member of BroLUG, has inspired me with his wacky and irrational building techniques and given me insight as to how drones can be constructed in an outside-the-box manner, thanks bro!
Next up, Cesbrick and David Hensel have made me speechless countless times with their amazing castle builds. Their freedom to create intricate and obsessively-meticulous builds mesmerize me every time, you guys rock!
Andy, a great guy I met at Brickworld Chicago last year, has given me hope for AFOLs. In my opinion, most of the AFOLs at Brickworld are self-conscious, fearful adults who are afraid of teen or child talent, and take over Brickworld with their mega-creations. Andy, on the other hand, was just there for the fun of it. He was charismatic and kind and made you want to keep talking! Thanks!
These are just a few examples of the people who make the LEGO Flickr community great!
I would also like to thank those who are active in my group, Recognition of Great MOCs. It has grown considerably over the past few seasons and has over 3000 pictures! That's pretty cool!
And one last thing, Flickr, please do not change the layout again, it was ridiculous how a while ago it had about three changes in three months...

Okey dokey let's just get right into it.
Thank you all so much, I appreciate every one of you sticking around to see what I have to offer, y'all mean so much to me.
Ok, so now I also want to say thank you to Sam K Bricks (www.flickr.com/photos/146835922@N07/) for kick - starting my new Flickr journey.
For months (nearly a year) I posted nothing. I entered a Lego dark age and lost interest and I was in a very bad place mentally. I saw a contest from Sam K Bricks pop up in a group showcase and entered. Boom, the rest is history. Posting minifigures gave me much joy and I realised I was actually alright at it so it reignited my burning love for Lego (Thanks Sam!)
I gained about a hundred followers in the 2 months after the contest so thank you very much for sticking around to see what I have built :p <3
Announcements:
Now, about the photo, here's just a selection of my most popular and some of my own favourite minifigs.
I'm thinking of making it a running joke now that you never see Rackham's face, he is just always facing the other way with his hands behind his back ;p
The guy front and centre is my sigfig. You may recognise him from the star wars rebels posts I did a while back.
I may have found a new love for minifigs but I started my page with bionicle. I still want to continue with this when I have time. I guess that's partly what made me lose interest, they're so big and take more effort and time, I got burned out doing it. Anyway I'm doing a bionicle collaboration (www.flickr.com/photos/144949303@N02/galleries/72157668440...) so look forward to that.
Contest coming soon so.. Yay
It's ready player one themed.
Pfft... uhm that's it? Jeez guys sorry for making it so long. You deserve a rest after that.
Thanks
Bye :)
