I'd like to take a moment to wish all my Flickr Friends and followers a very happy Saint Valentine's Day!
For anyone who follows my photostream, you might be aware I am very fortunate to be surrounded by some wonderfully artistic and creative friends. This includes my very dear friend Maria who creates some truly beautiful and amazing cards from recycled paper and cardboard. This Saint Valentine's Day card featuring hand-made flowers is a fine example of Maria's creations.
To quote Maria’s inserts that go with these cards: "Just like our loved ones, no two hearts are the same. Unique and individual, this heart was born from a desire to re-purpose paper destined for the bin."

Wow guys, I Can't believe that I'm at 300!! Now it might not seem like a lot but I'm still super happy. I've never been one to follow others just to gain followers, so thank you all so much! If I forget to tag you and you think you deserve a tag comment!
Hoverfly on Nightshade
Bittersweet nightshade is a slender perennial vine, found in creeks and wetlands, as well as field edges, gardens, parks, and roadsides. This plant is toxic to people, pets, and livestock, apparently not to Hoverflies or Bumblebees!!
