The only folding bike everyone part-folds as a matter of course. Flicking the back wheel underneath allows the bike to rest on its three little rollers (four, if you fit the rear rack).
My super clean Brompton S6L didn't stay standard for very long! The standard pedals were swapped for my SPDs; the foam grips, while quite nicely shaped, made way for Ergon GP1s; the handlebars were changed for carbon fibre risers along with a stem extension; a pair of bar ends added more reach; and the brake levers became my vintage Dia Compe SS5s. The two plastic cone-shaped rollers turned into Eazy Wheels, and an aluminium frame over the rear wheel carries two more Eazy Wheels for rollability.

I enjoy creating paper dolls by using rubber stamps in unusual ways and I could not resist creating a folding fairy to ATC just for the fun of it; so here she is and I hope you like her.
The paper doll was made from a doll template I created and printed on my computer then I decorated her us using various Blockhead Rubber Stamp Images.
The background, folding street lamp and hair/crown were from the Blockheads rubber stamp half-sheet titled Architecture AR501. (the hair and crown on the doll was created by using parts of the column found on the lower portion of one of the collage images). The Dress was created by stamping the butterfly wings from the Blockheads rubber stamp half-sheet titled Faerie Wings WH502 several times (7 times total. 6 for the skirt and one for the bodice)
The poseable doll is able to fold compactly within the dimensions of the ATC for storage due to its construction with brads. (The brads allow the doll to be displayed in a variety of positions.) The street lamp has two bends placed in it so it can easily be opened or folded closed on the ATC.
Ok here’s a photographic Zine
This sweetheart of a mini Zine includes photographs I take that inform my drawings. Looking for patterns, grids, and interesting combinations of marks.
Photography is an important part of my studio practice. I document what I see and how I see it. Sharing these images helps you see what I see.
These books are very simple for you to make once you download them. I I'm happy to share this short video that gives you an idea of what my Foldable Dispatches books look like after they are printed, folded, and cut.
Become a patron and download and make your own.
My year-long project for 2021 is a small single-sheet artist book/zine collection. This collection will be available to all patrons including the $3/month Studio Journal level. It’s like buying me a cup of coffee each month. Or level to VoxBox and get some buttons and other goodies too.
Inspired by numerous single sheet artist's books out in the universe, I have decided to make works that can be digitally shared with my patrons and collectors. I will be attempting to creat one single-sheet art book a month.
I have been behind due to so many issues but I'm continuing and hope to get the first series completed soon.

Standing/Intense Forward Bend or Fold Pose, in Sanskrit it is Uttanasana or variations such as Padahastasana with a grasp of toes. The fold is at exhalation from the hip joints, not from the waist At each inhalation lifting the torso upward; at the exhalation, folding further as the body releases. This pose is part of the Sun Salutations practice OR stretching as part of a warm up. It is great for lengthening through the spine, hamstrings & releasing throughout the body, allowing gravity to assist into this revitalizing inversion. Using blocks or resting palms onto shins or thighs can decrease the intensity of the pose, also by softening at the knees will help stretch gently without overdoing it, especially for those with very tight hamstrings or lower back issues. Practice and all is coming!
This folding bicycle is seriously fast. Tern made the Verge X20 as a super speed machine with top of the line components.
Folding bikes seem to have become very popular in Sapporo. However, I haven't seen anyone folding one.

I went out yesterday and noticed something different at the Manor. I couldn't see clearly in the shadows, so I went to investigate. One of the big old Norway spruces had literally folded over.
I guess it was sick anyway. Apparently it fell Monday night, when we had heavy rain and perhaps wind. There were excited wrens flying all around it and checking it out. I think many insects had been released and there was a feeding frenzy.
GONE - We have only two left of these super-storable, attractive, durable chairs. They are so convenient for when extra guests come, or you want to host the whole gang. Better jump on it!
I folded more, but this is all that I brought back. Starting from the top left, moving right and then left in a zig-zag pattern, the models are:
1.my praying mantis
2. pleat tesselation from the class
3. my attempt at designing a starfish
4. Bernie Peyton's polar bear
5. rat from the giant folding contest
6. Sipho Mabona's tiger
7. a cockroach design I am working on
8. Simple tesselation from Eric Gjerde's new book
It folds down small enough to easily fit in my trunk, and can in theory be packed into non-oversized luggage for airplane use.
