The Banks

A wounded Iraqi boy is comforted by a Hungarian translator shortly after arriving at Budapest Int'l Airport June 13, 2004. The U.S. Air Force evacuated the boy from Baghdad after being ran over by a Hungarian convoy truck. The Hungarians promised to provide free medical care for the boy while the U.S. Air Force provided the means (C-17 Globemaster) to get the boy to a Hungarian medical facility. I used a motion blur photoshop filter to bring focus on the connection between the boy and his translater/caretaker (since he was alone in a foreign country).

I've been quite busy and have logged some time on the highways. Most times it's like a vacation to me as I love driving but long trips in less than desirable weather can make it a chore. This lovely fog bank kept me company while on a trip to, I believe, Windsor. There's actually a car ahead in this shot.

A long string of Maintenance of Way vehicles is on the siding at Halsey, Oregon. Hope they wore their long johns.

There was a sunny day elsewhere, but on Wasaga Beach there was a milk-like fog for the entire day.

After cruising up a mountain in very dense fog, the clouds lifted - and gave way for a great view on Tetovo and the surrounding mountains... taken in November 2007.
