What I nearly like like blue skies are misty mornings. Today we had. But I wasn't the onlyone outside.... About 8:00 pm there are so much jogging people that you can search your back- and foreground - and just have to wait max. 5 minutes for the next to come.

Here is my monthly non long exposure shot. While many of us would like to have seen more sea fog at the Golden Gate in recent months, there have been a few key events to marvel at. It's a very simple phenomenon, to be sure, but makes for interesting photography, nonetheless.
The thing with this moment (and do mean moment) was the way the hill just seemed to grow a fuzzy wool sweater of fog.
Thanks for having a look!
I took this shot at the LeRoy Oakes in St Charles, this past weekend. Its interesting how the fog changed the whole scene and isolated out the barn.
That day I was aiming to capture Glastonbury Tor in background but fog was too dense . I took a photo of trees instead and very happy with this shot. If you look carefully you can see photographer on the left -bottom corner.

Woke up to some thick fog on Saturday morning. Sadie and I loaded up a couple of cameras and chased the fog for a good hour and a half. This was as we were heading out down our road.
Lake Conway, Arkansas.
This shallow lake is full of Cypress trees. You can only see the one due to the late afternoon fog.
The climb up to Snoqualmie Mt. was entirely in fog until just below the summit, when it cleared up a bit, but the hard wind blew.
At times it gets very foggy up here on the mountain. It can be magical, mystical, beautiful, or just plain ugly, whichever you prefer to call it.
We had Fog in the morning and then again in the evening. Something that I don't think I had ever experienced before. I just had to run out and get a shot! Mind you the temp. was 6c at around 6pm. Just a little fresh!

I came to this spot to photograph an industrial scene, which can barely be seen in the background through the heavy fog. Instead I got this shot of a train hauling limestone to a processing plant. Ironically, the industrial site is a place that produces white lime from limestone, and has its own quarry across the road. But I wanted to show the power of these locomotives for 117 pictures in 2017, #76 power/powerful.
