It's not unusual to see a male pigeon with his chest puffed up in breeding season, but I had never seen one quite as fluffed up as well, nor while sitting down. I love all the textures in this image.

Alira runs up to me with this.... 'wish fluff' and says to me.."Lanna its wish time" then i said to her "what did you wish for?" and then she says oh so sweetly..."I can't tell you or it wont come true silly"! Silly me....
But as we were walking back home she secretly tells me she wished for more "wish fluffs" for her garden.

All along this part of the canal bank the willow trees were losing the last of their spring fluff, creating what my children thought was fluffy snow
Really, this is one of two photos I took on March 24th (of the same shot) and I REALLY DID NOT want to share it because it's personal and I don't want to share personal photos on this Flickr. So I chopped and cropped the poo out of it. Enjoy the fluff.

When I'm on cat feeding duty for the Kranz family's cats I take the opportunity to get some photos! This is Fluff. She's an old lady now, but as conversational as ever and can still be tempted to play with string.
Hello Flickr friends! :) Well Fluff and I are finally back on Flickr and it feels good to be back! My grandmother, grandfather's brother and aunt all passed away and my mother is having some health challenges as well so I have been -and still am- worrying about her too and for a long time I spent very little time online, but now I'm back here and looking forward to catching up with you all! <3 I have been neglecting my poor dolls and I haven't really been looking for any new ones either honestly. what I have been doing is gardening, in fact I am in the process of giving the garden a total makeover and re-digging the flower borders. Those big perennials that tend to spread too much are getting removed from the flower borders -I don't mind having them at the wilder edge of the garden though- and I will be sowing others that I know I will enjoy more at this time and I am sure I will be tempted to buy a few plants, too. This year I am using a lot of annuals, some sown where I want them, but of course the flower bed in the cat's enclosures are more of a challenge since there is some not-so-welcome digging going on there ;) Anyway, Fluff, Prince and all of their friends will be happy to show you the garden as it progresses! ;) We have had the most amazing summer weather already with the month of may being the hottest ever recorded here, most of it felt as though we were in the middle of july with temperatures of almost 30 degrees Celsius every day and very little rain. It has become quite dry and there have been forest fires but not anywhere close to where I live. We have been getting some rain now in june though and since it almost always rains here around midsummer I am sure we will be getting more of it. The old-fashioned roses have never been prettier- I actually don't have any modern varieties at all- and everything is growing like mad, including those plants that most of us consider to be weeds, of course! ;) Oh, and I saw a real-life Prince today -Barbie's poodle and Fluff's friend, that is ;)- he looked exactly like Prince and I wish I had had my camera with me ;)
