Image taken by Vik and representing quite well what 2 weeks of Iceland has been. Nevertheless, the expected “bad” weather provided some unexpected dramatic moments and shifts in mood which presented real challenges to be captured and worked on to display my images in a proper way.

Late January, and this should have been a snowy scene on Tenaya Creek, but it looked and felt more like Spring.

With ever changing weather I spent a wet but fun couple of hours on the North Cornish Coast. I do love playing with shutter speeds and the rocks & water flow on this beach.

California’s only major un-dammed river system, the Wild and Scenic Smith River flows down the rugged Siskiyou and Klamath Mountains. The water flowing down this section of the South Fork Smith River typically appears emerald green in color.

The mineral serpentine has a gray-green color. The Smith River watershed contains this mineral in various forms and lends its distinctive color to the flowing water.

Besides its natural beauty, the upper reaches of the South Fork affords a person the opportunity for solitude, and if you're like me, an opportunity to catch native trout and steelhead.

I like to get right into the flow at waterfalls but got wet toes for this shot. Just below the main falls at Water Ark Foss, near Goathland in North Yorkshire.

This is the last shot from my trip to Venford falls, and just so it happens the first shot(s) I took that day. I must say it's a massive area that I need to fully explore and I plan to go back as one of the first places I visit when I pass my drivers test.

When looking at the scene I loved the vibrance of the moss and grass along with the flowing rivers through out the scene. I tried a couple of compositiion but I couldn't get it all in with one frame so I opted for a pano.

I hoped you all enjoys these pics from Venford.

It's been a crazy hot summer and am still waiting for the heat to subside. Wanted to share a picture from a cooler period this year. A beautiful moonlit night in the Canadian Rockies.

A small, recolored section of the side of a roll of clear 35mm leader film, the diffraction of the light through the sprocket holes forming a fish-scale or snakeskin-like pattern.

Flow -IV-, Golling

Taking this shot was quite a challenge. I'm still without a tripod I so I climbed on some really sharp rocks, put my towel on the only piece I could find that was slighty even and put my camera on the towel. Used a 30 second exposure, during which I tried to avoid falling off the rocks and getting wet from the super heavy weaves clashing on the rocks I was standing on.

I'm surprised I got such a peaceful shot out of the chaos that was going on around me. Forget extreme sports, extreme photography all the way!

{;auomh a not pf catch up as I have been ill this week.

I have a lot of places to visit on my photography bucket list but not sure I can top Pembrokeshire for it’s coastline. A little square of nature’s perfection watching the ebb and flow of waves on the beach at Watwick Bay.

Typically in my area the fog flows from the Pacific Ocean towards land. On rare occasions the fog fills into the valleys, rises to a height of a few thousand feet, and spills over the mountains towards the coast. This was one of those occasions.

Happy Friday!

Thanks for Looking!
