Told you she wasn't a dead dog.

Joe fell asleep on the floor of his bedroom tonight, having forgotten to brush his teeth. So, I woke him up and he wandered into the bathroom, where I helped him floss, in his half-asleep state. I had forgotten his tooth was loose, and when I flossed it, it came right out! Oops. Sorry Joe! He was not happy with me at all! But, he got over it... mostly...

i love floss box shots. this is the floss for the frosted pumpkin's spring sampler! i ordered the kit from the workroom which came with some stunning linen to stitch on, and all the colours of floss from cosmo. i'd never tried cosmo before. after doing the first week of patterns, i can say i really like it. i'm not convinced it is worth twice the price of DMC (which is .49c a skein in canada), but i can actually feel a difference in the hand.

This is my storage system for my embroidery floss. The large bin is one I had lying around I think it's a Sterilite brand. The smaller stackable compartment containers are from Ikea.

This has been working great for me. I keep it right under my bed. I would embroider in the dark if I could! I did try once, but I had to remove those stitches...

The Scavo Community Center is a realized dream shared by many stakeholders, sponsors and partners. There are some 25 of them listed on the sign that marks the entrance to not only the dental clinic, but a medical clinic too.

Representatives from Delta Dental and Mid-Iowa Health Foundation, the principal benefactors that made the dental clinic possible, were on hand to wield the giant scissors that made it official. So was Gentry, the first African-American elected to the Des Moines School Board and a long-time member of the Delta Dental and Mid-Iowa Health Foundation boards of directors.
