This time of the year the silk floss tree has these rather large pods growing on it. During autumn it has pink flowers but no pods. Now, it is nearly void of any leaves and flowers. Scroll down for a photo of this tree with its pink flowers.

I preordered two Charlotte des Fleurs so lucky this one has much better hair than the one I opened yesterday which was a total dud. Even though this one is still very wild it doesn't have the matted knots like the first one I opened. I can live with the curls but not tangles. I hope that whoever ordered this doll had better luck than I did!
